Early life and education
Scarlett was partially raised in Los Angeles by her mother Sharolyn who is a nutritionist, while not much is known about her father, who it is believed abandoned the family when Scarlett was seven.
She has a younger brother named Wolfgang, and an older sister, Martine, all of English, Swiss, Irish, Dutch and German descent. When she was five, the family relocated to Butler in Pennsylvania, where Scarlet began studying at an elementary school, however, when she was 11, the family moved back to Los Angeles and Scarlett started studying at home, and taking her exams at home as well, as she was too busy to attend high school due to her modelling career.
Career as a model and social media star
Scarlett’s modelling career was launched when she was 14 years old – she was at an airport getting ready to board her flight, when she was noticed by a modelling agent working at Wilhelmina Models agency; after talking to her parents, she signed her first contract at the age of 15. From there, she went on to sign with Next Models Worldwide, which she has been working with to this day.
Scarlett posed for many famous brands before she was invited to become the face of Brandy Melville, an Italian fashion brand.
The brand is quite controversial, as they are producing clothes in only one size, having the policy that ‘one size fits most’. This led to critics suggesting people not buy their clothes,. as they do not fit the requirements of most women living in the US. Nevertheless, the brand became extremely popular amongst young girls, mostly teenagers, and Scarlett became famous worldwide after she began working with them.

The popular singer began following her on Instagram, and uploaded a picture of her, leading people to believe that they were dating, however, Scarlett state that she did not bother to follow him, as she isn’t much of a fan, and isn’t interested in meeting him.
