She’s since appeared as a model for numerous high profile brands, including American Eagle and Ralph Lauren. She’s also traveled around the world for promotions and catwalk shows.

The Net Worth of Jocelyn Chew

She also maintains a strong online presence through social media, another avenue that has given her professional opportunities as well as boosting her income.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

While Jocelyn grew up in Canada, and is of Icelandic and Chinese descent. The combination of cultures gives her a distinctive Asian/European mixed look (Eurasian), which serves her well in her career. She grew up on a farm and lived a mostly rural upbringing. This led her to desire and enjoy extreme activities, going for adventurous activities and sports.

After matriculating from high school, she realized that what she truly wanted was to become a model, and she started traveling, looking for opportunities to find a breakthrough in the industry. She spent time working as a model in Singapore and Hong Kong before trying out some opportunities in Greece. Eventually she moved to New York, which is considered as one of the fashion capitals of the world. There she gained more opportunities, working on campaigns for brands such as Guess and Forever 21. The latter is a Los Angeles-based company, known for its fast-fashion, meaning that the company does its best to put current fashion trends straight onto the retail market.

The Face

As Chew gained more attention, she began being featured in several popular print publications, including “Seventeen” and “Cosmopolitan”, which is an international magazine that mainly caters to a female audience. The magazine has been in existence since the late 1800s, though it started as a family magazine before becoming what it is today.

Eventually she saw an opportunity to reach even greater heights, and possibly even supermodel status, when she saw auditions being held for the reality show “The Face”.

The show follows three supermodels who work as coaches in the show, looking for the next face to represent a major brand. The supermodels are responsible for choosing the models whom they believe can win the competition. Despite being on distinct teams, these models compete with everyone during challenges. They often do test catwalk shows, commercials, and photoshoots. After each challenge or test, the winner remains in the competition and is immune from elimination. Eliminations have been the shows most criticized parts, as there are no strict rules when it comes to removing models. In the finale, finalists compete in one final photoshoot and catwalk show, and the client then decides the winner from the remaining contestants.

Life After The Face

Jocelyn participated during the inaugural season of “The Face”, and reached fifth overall among 12 competitors. She was chosen and mentored by supermodel Naomi Campbell who rose to fame during the 1980s to the 1990s, and is one of the six original supermodels selected by the fashion industry. Jocelyn enjoyed working with her, learning from one of the most experienced models in the industry.

Following her appearance in the show, she gained more modeling opportunities by signing with Wilhelmina Models, also with Next Models in Miami and Industry Models in Los Angeles.

She had a versatile look which allowed her to wear denim, dresses, bikinis, beachwear, and more. She has the capability of pulling off a fierce look as well as presenting a more innocent demeanor. She travels the world for her work, and has recently been featured once again by “Cosmopolitan”. She also manages a strong online presence, often doing sponsor posts apart from her regular work, as seen on her Instagram account, and has partnered with companies such as Power Rager Tech and Lumiere De Vie.

Other Projects

Apart from modeling, Chew has a strong passion for lifestyle and fashion, leading her to start a blog called Jet Set Joce.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dc_RAGTFaoc

The blog was meant as an outlet to express her creativity regarding travel, style, and food, however, with so much work on her hands, she decided to discontinue the blog, and deleted it.

She turned her attention to YouTube instead, and launched a channel in 2019, which serves as a video blog (vlog) on which she talks about make-up, does hair tutorials, tours of her home, and many events, including talking about the luxury fashion items she owns; she even did a video about what’s inside her handbag. The channel is relatively new though it has gained over 10,000 subscribers, possibly drawn because she also features other models.

She doesn’t post regularly, with the most consistent being a video each month. Jocelyn has also expressed a desire to start, and while her credits so far are only her appearance in “The Face”, she began marketing herself as an actress. Time will tell if she gains more roles from that interest.

Personal Life

Chew previously had a relationship with Instagram personality Jesse Waits. From his posts, he is shown to be a motocross driver who travels around the world to races. The two quietly ended their association with with no reference whatsoever to their break-up.

In 2018, she was then linked to rapper Diddy, as the two were seen spending time together in Miami, and at a Drake concert. This led to some criticism, because of Diddy who had just broken up with his long-time wife. However, neither confirmed having a relationship, and seemingly moved on after a few dates.

Apart from romances, Jocelyn has admitted to being a person who gets bored easily. She doesn’t deal well with downtime and prefers to be always on the go, which is one of the reasons she enjoys traveling. She isn’t bothered by paparazzi and critics that much, often ignoring them when encountering them in public street.

Since going quiet online, it is not known if she is still doing work that pays in the same capacity.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Growing up, she wanted to pursue a career in modeling, but was discouraged from pursuing her interest, so a lot of tension brewed within their household, leading her to leave home and move to New York to find opportunities on her own. It was during her time there that she established herself online, through the pseudonyms Wendy 4 and Party Girl, creating an account on MySpace.

Online Career

MySpace was one of the first popular social media platforms in the US, and Wendy was one of the first models to aim for an online career, and quickly gained popularity for her attractive looks. One of her most noticeable features was her large breasts, which were measured at 32JJ.

https://www.instagram.com/p/7349QcI-rR/

She gained tens of thousands of followers on MySpace, and uploaded sensual photos which accentuated her looks, considerably increasing her popularity. Eventually, she started modeling for websites that featured glamour models including SportsByBrooks and ActionGirls.

With the advent of new platforms and the decreasing popularity of MySpace, Fiore then created accounts on other websites, particularly Instagram. She reflected her real name on her account there, and quickly gained over 500,000 followers in a short period, by releasing various photos taken from photo shoots and other albums. Her fame even led her to be featured by several online publications, and she even made guest appearances on radio programs.

She marketed herself as a strong woman, and was not afraid to express herself openly. However, things changed sometime in 2017 when she started becoming less active online. She eventually turned her Instagram private, and shut down all her online accounts, with no explanation as to why she did this.

He became a part of a torpedo squadron, serving aboard the USS Bennington and USS Bunker Hill. Following the end of the war, he returned home to complete his bachelor’s and a law degree from the University of Georgia. He practiced law until the 1950s when he explored a career as an American Football coach. He worked at Stetson University, while also managing several businesses in Florida including nightclubs, hotels, and motels. During his career, he was noted for helping to popularize Daytona Beach as a prime destination for Spring Breakers, following a sudden surge of spring break attendees in Fort Lauderdale. His campaign to promote Daytona was highly successful, leading him to earn the nickname, Father of Springbreak.

Coaching and Politics – Bud Asher

While Asher was developing a strong career in politics, he also remained a coach for American Football for over six decades. He started as a high school coach, and after his stint at Stetson he also worked with Bethune-Cookman University. Eventually, his coaching endeavors attracted professional teams, and he became a coach of the Jacksonville Sharks during the operation of the now-defunct World Football League.

He was noted for scouting various players who would find success in both college football and the National Football League (NFL), a skill which translated into a career as a talent scout in the NFL, working for teams such as the Cincinnati Bengals, San Diego Chargers, and Oakland Raiders.

He was also a district judge, before becoming city commissioner in 1983, serving in that position for over 12 years until he was elected as mayor of Daytona Beach for eight years, re-elected three times before retiring. In the early-2010s, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and he passed away from the disease in his home in 2013. He is survived by his wife, children from a previous marriage, and his stepdaughter Wendy. His funeral was given full military honors.

Personal Life

During her online career, Fiore never entertained questions regarding her romantic life. She was single as far as is known during this time, and rumors even spread that she was interested in women but it was never confirmed. Many of her fans believed that she stopped her career as a glamour model to settle down, starting a family and living life as a housewife.
