Anna Elisabet Eberstein was born in Sundsvall, Vasternorrland, Sweden, on 15 February 1983 – her zodiac sign is Aquarius and she holds Swedish nationality. She is a film director, producer and a businesswoman, but who might be known best to the public for being the wife of the famous British actor Hugh Grant.
Childhood and education
Anna was raised alongside her brother Christian Eberstein by their parents Hans and Susanne who are businesspeople, and who spent most of their time working when Anna and Christian were still very young, and they thus spent a lot of time with a babysitter.
Anna was encouraged by her parents to pursue a college degree, but what she really wanted to do was pursue a career as an actress – she was a member of her high school’s drama club and appeared in many plays performed at the school as well as several performed at a local theatre. Upon matriculation in 2001, she enrolled at Oxford Brooks University in the UK, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and political science, and she then obtaining her Master of Arts degree in economics in 2007.
Anna continued her education, attending both Lincoln Memorial University in the US, and Uppsala University in Sweden.
Career
After obtaining her Master’s degree, Anna started working as a promotions producer in sales and marketing for the network ESPN; she stayed with them for several years and was eventually promoted to the position of an assistant producer. In 2013 she left ESPN and become a freelancer, and then became an entrepreneur, having founded the online children’s clothing brand Ace & Me – she has been serving as the company’s CEO since 2016.
Love life and marriage with Hugh Grant
Before the two met, Hugh was in several relationships with celebrities. He dated Elizabeth Hurley from 1987 to 2000, and there were rumors circulating the internet that the two married in secret sometime during those 13 years, however, this hasn’t been confirmed. He dated Tinglan Hong in 2011 and she gave birth to their daughter Xiao Xi, however, they had split by the end of the year, and he started dating Anna.
Anna gave birth to their son in September 2012, but while taking a break from each other, he got back together with Hong and she gave birth to their son. Anne and Hugh’s second child was born in December 2015 and their third child followed in early 2018 – Hugh and Anne married in a private ceremony on 25 May 2018, attended by their closest friends and family.
Anna hasn’t commented on any other men she might have dated, and as of November 2020, she is married and has three children.
Hobbies and other interests
Anna loves to travel – she and Hugh honeymooned in Paris, France, however, things were not so great as their taxi driver drove away with Anna while Hugh was making a withdrawal at an ATM machine. The issue was eventually resolved, although Hugh hasn’t given out the details.
Anna is very sporting and is an avid tennis player, currently a member of the Queen’s Club in London – she also plays badminton and volleyball.
She is interested in art, and has visited numerous museums and galleries all around Europe.
In her spare time, Anna enjoys watching movies with Hugh, and her favorite actors and actresses are Tom Hanks, Will Smith and Julia Roberts, while a few of her favorite movies are “Sleepless in Seattle”, “You’ve Got Mail” and “Seven Pounds”.

Who is Hugh Grant?
Hugh John Mungo Grant was born in London, England, on 9 September 1960 – his zodiac sign is Virgo and he holds British nationality. He is an actor who has won numerous awards including a BAFTA, a Golden Globe and an Honorary Cesar.
Hugh was raised alongside his brother by their mother Fynvola Susa MacLean, and their father Captain James Murray Grant – James was also the owner of a carpet firm and an avid golf player. Hugh attended Hogarth Primary School before moving to St Peter’s Primary School, and eventually attending the Wetherby Preparatory School. He became sporting while attending Latymer Upper School, as he played soccer, cricket and football for the school’s teams.
Hugh was awarded a scholarship to New College, Oxford, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature in 1982. He became interested in acting while attending college, and although he was later offered a place to pursue a PhD, he chose to focus on acting.
He made his debut film appearance in the 1982 drama “Privileged”, but gained recognition only in 1987 after being cast to play the lead character in the romantic drama movie “Maurice”. Hugh is a philanthropist who mostly works with the health charity DIPEx, while he has also donated money to the Fynvola Foundation – since his mother died in 2001, Hugh has been the ambassador of Marie Curie Cancer Care, and has also donated to Pancreatic Cancer Action.
