After a few minor roles in Australian TV series, which included “The Doctor Blake Mysteries” and “Maki: Island of Secrets” (2015), Angourie Rice’s breakout role came in 2016, when she appeared in the film “Nowhere Boys: The Book of Shadows”.

Moreover, she starred in the film “Honor Society”, which tells the story of a group of high school seniors who create a secret society to avenge themselves against bullies and social hierarchies. Rice plays the lead character, Honor Rose, a brilliant student but who struggles with social anxiety, and is forced to confront her fears when she joins the society.
She is set to star in the highly-anticipated miniseries “The Last Thing He Told Me”, in which Rice will play the role of Bailey, a teenager who is caught in the middle of a mysterious disappearance.
