American actress Danielle Nicolet was actually born Danielle Diggs in Ashtabula, Ohio USA, on 24 November 1973, meaning that her zodiac sign is Sagittarius. She’s had roles in close to 80 movies and TV series, but is perhaps known best for playing Cecile Horton, one of the lead characters in the critically acclaimed action adventure series “The Flash”. It also starred Candice Patton and Grant Gustin, was created by Greg Berlanti and Geoff Johns, and follows Barry Allen who’s been struck by lightning and is now superfast; the series has been airing since 2014, and has won 29 of its 125 award nominations.

Education and early life

Danielle was raised in Ashtabula alongside her brother Rick, by their mother Patricia Rose and father Richard Diggs; Danielle’s family prefers to stay away from media, which is why not many details have been disclosed about them.

She became interested in acting while attending a local high school; Danielle was a member of its drama club and starred in a number of school plays, while she was also into dancing and playing sports. Danielle’s debut film role was playing Debbie Luger in the popular 1993 action crime comedy “Loaded Weapon 1”, which starred Samuel L. Jackson and Emilio Estevez, and was written and directed by Gene Quintano. It follows two police officers as they’re working on a drug case in Los Angeles, California. Some of Danielle’s notable performances in the remainder of the ‘90s were in 1996 in the mystery thriller “Where Truth Lies” and the drama “The Prince”, and the 1998 drama “Race”.

The year 2004 saw her portray Jeanie in the romantic crime drama “A Wonderful Night in Split”, written and directed by Arsen A. Ostojic, and which starred Dino Dvornik, Mladen Vulic and Coolio; the film tells three stories taking part in Split, Croatia and won 16 of its 29 award nominations. Danielle was then cast to appear in the 2006 science fiction horror “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”, the 2007 comedy “The Weekend” and the 2009 romantic comedy “Alpha Males Experiment”.

She portrayed Maggie in the hit 2016 action crime comedy “Central Intelligence”, which starred Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson, and was directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. It follows an accountant who’s been lured into international espionage, and the movie won two of its 10 award nominations.

Some of Danielle’s most recent film roles have been in the 2018 romantic horror “Acrimony”, the 2020 comedy “Faith Based” and the 2022 short drama “In Training”.
