Who is Jacqueline MacInnes Wood?
Canadian actress and musician Jacqueline MacInnes Wood was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, on 17 April 1987, making Aries her zodiac sign. She’s appeared in only 16 TV series and movies, but is known best for starring as Steffy Forrester in over 2,150 episodes of the soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful” since 2008; the series has been airing since 1987, numbering over 9,000 episodes. It was created by Lee Phillip and William J. Bell, today also stars John McCook and Katherine Kelly Lang, and follows the lives of several wealthy people; the series has won 132 of its 590 awards.
Education and early life
Jacqueline was raised in Windsor alongside her half-sister Dani Parkinson, by her father James C. Wood and mother Sandie Alexandra MacInnes; not many details have been disclosed about Jacqueline’s family, while it’s known that her half-sister was once marred to the late Canadian professional ice hockey player Robert Alan Probert.
Jacqueline became interested in acting while attending a local high school in Windsor, but was also into a number of other activities during her teenage years, including dancing, singing and playing soccer. She matriculated in 2005, and then enrolled at Ryerson University’s Centre for the Arts – she launched her acting career during her first year there, appearing in a 2006 episode of both the comedy series “Lovebites”, and the drama series “Runaway”.
Jacqueline graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2009, and then honed her acting skills at the Armstrong Acting Studio.

Jacqueline played Ava in two episodes of the 2008 drama “M. V. P.”, created by Kent Staines and Mary Young Leckie, and which starred Kristin Booth, Lucas Bryant and Dillon Casey; it follows the members of the Canadian professional ice hockey team The Mustangs, and the series was nominated for two awards.
In 2012, she portrayed Sarah Lance in the pilot episode of the hit action crime adventure “Arrow”, which starred Katie Cassidy and Stephen Amell, and was created by Marc Guggenheim and Greg Berlanti. It follows billionaire Oliver Queen who was believed to be dead for five years after his yacht was lost at sea, while he’s now returned as a vigilante; the series aired from 2012 through 2020, and won 22 of its 111 award nominations.

Jacqueline was then cast to play Jane in the 2014 episode “Charlie and the Temper of Doom” of the romantic comedy “Anger Management”, and Chelsea in the 2014 episode “The Time of Our Lives” of the crime comedy “Castle”. The year 2015 saw her star as Samantha Lear in all the six episodes of the crime musical “South Beach”, which also starred Manny Montana and Ana Villafane, and follows the lives of several people trying to succeed in Miami, Florida.
Jacqueline’s only other TV series role has been playing Steffy – Clue Giver in a 2017 episode of the game-show “Jeopardy!”

Jacqueline’s debut film role was playing Laurel in the 2008 horror thriller “Nightmare at the End of the Hall”, directed by George Mendeluk, and which starred Sara Rue, Duncan Regehr and Kavan Smith; it follows an author who’s begun teaching at the high school which she once attended, while she’s now encountered a teenager who seems to be her dead classmate.
The following year saw Jacqueline appear in the family science fiction “Skyrunners”, directed by Ralph Hemecker, and which starred Kelly Blatz, Joey Pollari and Linda Kash; it follows 14 years old Tyler who’s been given superpowers by an alien spaceship, and the film won one of its two award nominations. Jacqueline could then have been seen appearing in the 2010 comedy “Turn the Beat Around”, and in 2011 the horror thriller “Final Destination 5” and the short comedy “New Romance”.
Her only other film role has been starring as Cathy Coulter in the 2013 crime thriller “Her Husband’s Betrayal”, directed by Ron Oliver, and which also starred Shawn Roberts and Marc Bendavid; it follows a woman who’s spying on her husband because she believes he’s cheating on her, while she’s now learned that he’s killed someone and framed her for the murder.

The two married in a small ceremony in July 2018, and Jacqueline gave birth to their first son Rise Harlen Ruspoli on 4 March 2019; their second son Lenix followed in February 2021, and third son Brandon in May 2022.
Just recently, in April 2023, Jacqueline revealed on the talk-show “The Talk” that she was pregnant with her and Elan’s fourth child.
She’s yet to mention any men whom she had been with prior to meeting Elan, Jacqueline’s married to Elan Ruspoli as of May 2023, and they have three children together (with fourth to be born by the end of 2023).
