Childhood and education
Jessica was raised alongside her younger sister in Los Angeles, by their father who is a truck driver, and their mother who is working at an insurance company. Jessica became interested in singing while attending elementary school, and after realizing she was talented, her parents enrolled her at an arts school.
She continued singing after enrolling at a public high school in Los Angeles, where she could have been heard singing in a variety of school plays, and she was also physically active as she was playing soccer and volleyball with her peers. Upon matriculation, Jessica didnât enroll at a college, but started working several jobs to financially support herself while working on her music.

Jessica gained recognition after Logic featured her as a background vocal in a few of his songs, including âUnder Pressureâ, âBang Bangâ, and âFlexicutionâ among others. On 26 May 2017, she released her debut single âMedicineâ, while her first Extended Play (EP) came out later in 2017, consisting of five songs: âMedicineâ, âElectricâ, âFake Itâ, âWho Saysâ, and âGossip Girlâ.
She is somewhat active on YouTube, having launched her channel on 29 October 2015 and which is currently subscribed to by over 450,000 people – she has only uploaded one video onto it entitled âDancing With a Stranger Cover â Jess Andreaâ, which has been seen over 45,000 times since 1 March 2019.

Jessica and Logic met when they were supposed to collaborate on a song, and they began going out in 2013. In the summer of 2014, Logic asked her to marry him, and the wedding was held on 22 October that year, attended by only the twoâs closest friends and family.
They didnât sign a prenuptial agreement, and according to various sources, after Logic became famous in the US, he stopped caring about Jessica, and shortly after they were seen together at 2018 Grammys, Logic asked for a divorce as he didnât feel free anymore. Their divorce was finalized on 9 November 2018, but the two have remained on good terms and are said to be good friends today. They have also explained how there was no infidelity involved, but the marriage simply didnât work.

He is a rapper, singer, and author among other things, best known for his song â1-800-273-8255â which peaked at #3 on the USA Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Logic was raised in Rockville by his father Robert Bryson Hall who is African-American, and his mother who is white. Growing up wasnât easy, as his father was addicted to cocaine and his mother to alcohol, and his brothers were producing and selling crack cocaine around his neighborhood. Logic has stated how he is trying to stay away from drugs, but knows how to make crack cocaine thanks to his brothers. He attended Gaithersburg High School, but was kicked out due to skipping classes while (supposedly) attending 10th grade.
He saw the movie âKill Bill: Volume 1â at the age of 13, and then became interested in rapping. He has won three awards: an MTV Video Music Award for the Best Fight Against the System, an BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Award for Most Performed R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and an BMI Pop Award for the Best Winning Song.
He is also a writer, as he published his novel âSupermarketâ in early 2019, becoming a best-selling author. Logic doesnât drink except for occasional champagne, doesnât smoke weed, and doesnât take drugs, but was addicted to cigarettes until 2014.
