Paulina Andreeva was born in Leningrad, then Russian Soviet Federal Socialist Republic, Soviet Union on 12 October 1988 – her zodiac sign is Libra and she holds Russian nationality. She is an actress best known for starring in the science fiction TV series “Better Than Us”, while she gained recognition after she started dating, and later married actor and director Fyodor Bondarchuk.

Early life and education

She was raised with her brother named Igor Andreev in Leningrad, by her mother Maria and father Oleg who were both actors.

Her parents started taking her onto their sets when she was five years old, and she started acting at the age of seven, appearing in her elementary school’s plays. She continued her education at a local high school where she studied dance, singing, and acting. Upon matriculation, Paulina enrolled at Saint Petersburg University, hoping to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in journalism, however, she quit after two years and moved to Moscow, where she enrolled at Moscow Art Theatre School and studying acting, obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in theatre in 2012.

Career as an actress

Paulina launched her acting career in 2011, but didn’t gain recognition until appearing in the film “The Dark World: Equilibrium” in 2013, portraying Lily, the right-handed sorcerer. She made her debut TV series appearance in the same year, playing Dina in “The Thaw” which follows people involved in the film industry living in the Soviet Union from the early ‘50s to the early ‘60s. Her next role came in the following year in the TV series “Gregory R.”, in which she portrayed Irina Yusupova, while 2015 saw her star as Lera in the movie “Locust”, and as Esenya in the TV series “The Method”.

In 2016, Paulina was invited to portray Sonya Shmul in the comedy romance film “Status: Free” (original “Status: Svodoben” in Russian) which also starred Natalya Anisimova and Darya Arefeva, and follows Nikita and Afina who seem to be a perfect couple until Afina leaves him after she falls in love with a dentist.

Paulina became famous after she began playing the lead character, Arisa in the science fiction drama TV series “Better Than Us”, which was directed by Alexander Kessel and also starred Kirill Karo and Aleksandr Ustyugov. The story follows a family who comes into the possession of a robot, which is the subject of a search by several corporations, as well as the police and terrorists.

The series won two awards for best make-up and best visual effects, while it was nominated for best TV mini-series and Paulina for the best actress in a TV movie or series. Her latest appearance has been in the movie “The Little Humpbacked Horse” in 2020, in which she portrayed Tsar Maiden.

They dated for two years before becoming engaged in 2018, and on 17 September 2019 they married in St. Petersburg, while the event was attended only by their closest friends and family.

Paulina is a fan of the film industry and some of her favorite Hollywood actors and actresses are Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Natalie Portman, while some of her favorite movies are “Titanic”, “Good Will Hunting”, and “Shutter Island”.

She is a lover of animals, and has a pet dog and a cat. Paulina enjoys travelling, and has been to many European countries including Iceland, France and Germany while she has also been to several states in the US such as New York, Arizona and California. She is physically active, having several training sessions at the gym each week, mostly because she wants to stay in shape and keep her weight as it is. Fedor Bondarchuk was born in Moscow on 9 May 1967 – his zodiac sign is Taurus and he holds Russian nationality. He was raised by his father Sergei Fedorovich Bondarchuk who was a film director, and his mother Irina Konstantinova Skobtseva who was an actress. He became interested in acting thanks to his parents, who took him with them while they were working on their movies.

Fedor later attended the workshop Ozerov, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in directing in 1992. He launched his career in 1990, producing music videos for Russian performers, then directed his first film in 1993 entitled “I Love”.

Fedor is credited with directing the two most successful war movies in Russia, the first of which was “The 9th Company” released in 2005 which follows the Afghanistan War. while the second – “Stalingrad” – was released in 2013, and which grossed more than $67 million worldwide. He went on to found his own company, Art Pictures Studio Production which is considered to be one of the best film studios in Russia.

He has also launched Art Pictures Vision Company together with several other people, and Fedor is currently working as one of its producers.

He is also an actor, having appeared in over 70 films and TV series, while he has won two Golden Eagle Awards, for his portrayal of the lead character in the film “Two Days” in 2012, and for starring in the movie “Ghost” in 2016. He is currently serving as the Chairman of the Alenxader Nevsky Board of Trustees of Kinotavr Open Russian Film Festival, and in 2018, he received the Order of Award.
