Early life and education

Tara was raised in Los Angeles, California as an only child, by her father who was an accountant and her mother who was a housewife. She grew up dreaming about becoming a famous model and actress, as this is what most of her peers wanted as well, and she also practiced acting while attending high school, but gave up on the idea after realizing she wasn’t talented.

Upon matriculation in 2007, she decided not to attend college.

Mandi was raised alongside her brother by their parents who were both involved in business, and realized that she was lesbian while attending high school, but was afraid to come out and kept it hidden for years. She was physically active at high school, as she played a variety of sports such as soccer and tennis; upon matriculation in 2015, she decided not to attend college.

Career as YouTubers

Both Tara and Mandi have been focused on their YouTube channel since the upload of their first video – “Baby Journey Begins” on 15 April 2014. The video didn’t gain that much attention, but has been viewed nearly 60,000 times; two of their most popular videos today are “REUNITED” which has been seen nearly 900,000 times since 22 August 2018 and “11 YEARS AND COUNTING” which has been watched over 810,000 times since it was uploaded on 7 May 2017.

The two women are currently focused on uploading videos featuring their daughters and their dogs.

Tara and Mandi are also active on Instagram – their account is currently followed by nearly 60,000 people, while they’ve uploaded over 1,200 pictures onto it. The account generates a rather small amount of money for them, but they are keen on sharing pictures with their fans, and so they are also running a Twitter account which is followed by over 16,000 people.

Love life and relationships

Tara and Mandi met in 2009 when they were introduced by a mutual friend at a party, and although both of them were around 20 years old at the time, they were still having problems with coming out of the closet. They began dating, and within a year told their friends and family that they were lesbians. They haven’t shared the date of their wedding with the public, but it is believed that they exchanged vows sometime in 2015, and as both of their families are supportive of the marriage, they also attended the ceremony, alongside some of Tara and Mandi’s closest friends.

In November 2015, Mandi gave birth to their daughter Lennon, and two years later to their twin daughters Everett and Maeve; neither Mandi nor Tara have stated whether Mandi underwent artificial insemination or if she had a man to help her with becoming pregnant. The two women are happy that they are raising daughters, as they admit it might have been strange for their sons to be raised by two lesbian women.

Hobbies and other interests

Both Tara and Mandi area huge lovers of animals, and they have two pet dogs Delilah and Roxy which can often be seen featured in their videos and their pictures on Instagram.

They like to travel, and have been to many US states including New York, California and Texas, as well as  to several European countries including England and Italy. They are interested in music – Tara’s favorite genre is pop, while Mandi is a fan of jazz and blues and two of her favorite performers are Aretha Franklin and Frank Sinatra. They rarely go shopping for clothes except when it is for their children, and they aren’t fans of make-up either.

The two like to watch movies in their spare time, and Tara’s favorite actor and actress are Tom Hanks and Anne Hathaway, while Mandi’s favorites are Brad Pitt and Meryl Streep; some of the movies which both of them love to watch are “Me Before You”, “Sleepless in Seattle” and “Runaway Bride”.
