Who is Kim Yugyeom dating?

Kim hasn’t so far been in a long-term relationship with any girl, but according to Koreaboo, he already knows exactly what he wants out of his relationship, as well as what he’d like the girl to look like. His ideal girl should be skinny, have pale skin and long hair, and she should come with little quirks – his current crush is Krystal Jung who is an American singer and actress living in South Korea, and who gained recognition after she joined the South Korean girl band f(x). According to Kim, it might be hard for him to get to her at the beginning, but he is certain it wouldn’t take her long to become relaxed when she’s close to him, after they get to know one another a bit better.

Kim is always the one to make the first move when he likes a girl.

Rise to stardom

The world didn’t know about Kim until he joined the Got7 South Korean boy band in January 2014, when their debut extended play (EP) entitled “Got It?” came out and became a hit in South Korea. Sony Music Entertainment Japan saw the boys’ potential and after signing a contract with them in late 2014, their debut Japanese single called “Around the World” was released.

They stayed in Japan for a month to promote the song, then returned to South Korea where they worked on their debut full-length album “Identify”. As their popularity grew in Japan as fast as in South Korea, they decided to work on their full-length Japanese album “Moriagatteyo”, which was released in 2016 and was followed by their new Korean EP, and their second Korean full-length album “Flight Log: Turbulence”. The band’s most recent EP entitled “Dye” has been their eleventh, and came out on 20 April 2020.

According to the “Singles Magazine”, every member of Got7 is very busy with numerous other commitments, as Jinyoung is an actor, Jackson is an MC and has appeared in a variety of TV shows, while Kim is mostly focused on his studies and passing his exams – his band colleagues have all agreed that Kim has the best and hottest body among the seven of them, but he denies it, stating that each one of them is attractive and has something better than the others. The others call Kim ‘Big Baby’ because he’s the tallest, and at the same time the youngest member of the band, while he also seems to be the most sensitive one. We also believe Kim to be the shiest of the members, as he avoids giving interviews and usually lets his friends do the talking, while he will only answer if the question is specifically directed at him.

Before fame

Kim was a dancer before joining Got7, and competed in a variety of competitions and won the show “Hit The Stage” in 2016. He started dancing at the age of six, and has since competed in numerous competitions organized in Asia as well as in Europe, however, he didn’t attract much attention before Got7 released their debut song “Girls Girls Girls”. Kim also began learning how to play the piano at the age of seven, and has performed in a variety of places including restaurants and theatres.

He was born in Namyangju in South Korea on 17 November 1997, thus his zodiac sign is Scorpio.

He has an older brother whom he rarely talks about, but still it’s believed that the two are very close. Kim has been interested in acting and singing from a very early age; he studied at Donong Elementary School before enrolling at Migeum Middle School, and continuing his education at Hamlim Arts High School. It wasn’t easy for the youngest member of Got7 to study for his exams, as his band had to perform all around South Korea as well as to practice their new songs together. However, he has managed to pass all his exams and is considering pursuing a college degree but without having to attend the classes as he definitely wouldn’t be able to do so.

He tried to become an actor

Kim was motivated by his band colleagues J. B. and Jackson Wang to pursue a career in the film industry as well, and after Jackson was cast to play one of the lead characters in the drama series “Dream Knight”, he asked Kim whether he would like to test his acting skills in the series. He was only allowed to make an uncredited appearance in a single episode out of 12, but it didn’t make much of a difference as it was cancelled after airing 12 episodes, as it didn’t attract much attention. Kim has since attended several auditions for movie and TV series roles, but it doesn’t appear as he will be launching his acting career, as he seems to lack the necessary talent.

What he does in his spare time

In his spare time, Kim usually does what he does the best – plays the piano and dances around the house and in the streets. He occasionally takes a walk and buys street food, some of his favorites are bulgogi and kimbap, while he also fell in love with US fast food which he tried the first time he visited New York at the age of 19

.Although not as stylish as some of his colleagues from the band, he is still keen on going shopping for clothes, and his favorite color is pale blue. He doesn’t differ much from other South Koreans when it comes to his taste in movies, as his favorites are aniespecially those made by Studio Ghibli such as “Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind” and “Howl’s Moving Castle”.

Kim is also a huge lover of animals but isn’t planning on getting a pet because he wouldn’t have time to take proper care of it.

He isn’t used to the amount of attention he is getting on social media networks – his Instagram account is currently followed by nearly eight million people, but don’t you dare to think this will make Kim more active on the network and force him to upload more pictures – he isn’t that worried about his image on social media, and he can sometimes upload several pictures and videos in a day, but then weeks can pass before he uploads any new content.

on

Who is Mark Foster?

American singer-songwriter Mark Derek Foster was born in Milpitas, California USA, on 29 February 1984, making Pisces his zodiac sign. He’s probably known best for being the lead singer of the American Indie pop band Foster the People, while their most popular song is perhaps “Pumped Up Kicks” – the song’s YouTube music video has been watched close to a billion times since it was uploaded on 5 February 2011.

Education and early life

Mark was raised in a small city close to Cleveland, Ohio, by his parents about whom he hasn’t spoken in public, because they prefer to stay away from media; he hasn’t disclosed whether or not he has siblings, and is thus believed to be an only child.

Mark became interested in music around the age of eight, when he began playing both the guitar and drums, while he eventually took on the piano and joined the Cleveland Orchestra Children’s Chorus. He enrolled at Nordonia High School in 1998 and was a member of several garage bands during his four years there; Mark matriculated in 2002 and then focused on making a name for himself in the music industry, rather than to go after a college degree.

Mark’s career

Mark was advised by his father in 2002 to move to San Fernando Valley and live there with his uncle, believing that he would have more chances to succeed in music in Los Angeles, California; he later revealed that he had found it hard to adjust to this ‘intimidating city’, claiming that the people who were mentally ill held the most powerful positions in Los Angeles.

He worked various jobs during his first a couple of years there, including waiting tables, bartending and delivering pizzas – he spent eight years working as a pizza delivery boy.

Mark was unlucky with music, and his first real opportunity came in 2005, when he was nearly signed to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment; in the following year, he sang the song “Breakdown”, recorded for the 2006 teen comedy movie “Stick It”. He then recorded his single “The Ballad of Andy”, and produced several songs for bands The Rondo Brothers and Frodad.

Mark became seriously addicted to drugs in 2007 and 2008, but after realizing the negative impact drugs had on his health and his friends, he entered a rehab program; his friend, American actor and singer Brad Barron Renfro died from a heroin overdose on 15 January 2008, and Mark dedicated his 2009 song “Downtown” to Brad.

He began working as a commercial jingle writer for Mophonics in 2008, but after suffering from writer’s block realized that he needed a band. The following year saw him release his debut and so far only solo album “Solo Songs”, comprising nine songs; also in 2009, Mark met with Jacob ‘Cubbie’ Fink and Mark Pontius, and they founded Foster the People. The band was meant to be called ‘Foster and the People’, but after Fink and Pontius misunderstood the name, Mark chose to keep it.

Their first song was “Pumped Up Kicks”, which remains their most popular song today; it was released in 2010, and Foster the People then signed a contract with Columbia Records in May of the same year. The song was re-released under Columbia on 14 September 2010, and became a huge hit – it’s amongst only 64 songs which have been certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Their debut album “Torches” was released on 23 May 2011; it was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album, and reached #8 on the Billboard 200 chart. Foster the People’s second album “Supermodel” followed on 14 March 2014, and reached #3 on Billboard 200, and their third album “Sacred Hearts Club” was released on 21 July 2017, and its single “Sit Next to Me” was certified double platinum by RIAA.

The band’s debut extended play (EP) “Pick U Up” came out in September 2019, and their second EP “In the Darkest of Nights, Let the Birds Sing” followed in December 2020.

Most recently, in November 2021, Mark was featured on Taylor Swift’s album “Red (Taylor’s Version)”.

Mark’s married to Julia Garner as of April 2023, and doesn’t have children.

Who is Ronnie Radke?

Famous American singer-songwriter and record producer Ronald Joseph ‘Ronnie’ Radke was born in Las Vegas, Nevada USA, on 15 December 1983, making Sagittarius his zodiac sign. He’s probably known best for being the former lead singer of the rock ‘n’ roll band Escape the Fate, while he’s today the lead singer of the rock ‘n’ roll band Falling in Reverse.

Education and early life

Ronnie was raised in Las Vegas alongside his brothers Matthew Radke and Anthony James Radke, by their father Russell Radke; their (unnamed) mother was a drug addict and rarely spent any time at home. Ronnie’s brother Anthony died in a car crash in 2013, aged 33.

Ronnie began playing the guitar while attending a local elementary school, and started off by learning Blink-182 songs. He became serious about music while attending a local high school, and founded several bands during his time there; he once ran away from home to play with his friends, and claimed that their band sounded ‘just like Blink-182’. Ronnie spent some time living with his best friend Mitch, prior to spending some time living with his mother.

He and his band performed a few times at Huntridge and Chain Reaction in Las Vegas, the after they disbanded, he returned home and continued living with his father and brothers. Ronnie enrolled at high school again, but then also dropped out again. At the age of 17, he founded the band True Story together with Max Green, and with them recorded the songs “The Worst Time” and “Listen Up!”, which he had previously written in 1998.

Career as a musician

In 2004, aged 20, Ronnie was suggested to Bryan Mooney who was looking for a vocalist for his band; he was impressed with Ronnie’s skills, and after Robert Ortiz was selected as their drummer, they founded Escape the Fate; not long after this, Omar Espinosa became their rhythm guitarist, and Carson Allen their keyboardist.

The year 2006 saw Escape the Fate record the demo “Escape the Fate EP” and sign with Epitaph Records; on 26 September of the same year, they released their debut album “Dying Is Your Latest Fashion”.

Ronnie was already on probation when he was arrested in 2008 for owning brass knuckles, and was sentenced to spend 2.5 years behind bars, and was thus kicked out of Escape the Fate and replaced by Craig Mabbitt. Ronnie and Craig entered a feud while he was in jail, as Craig often insulted Ronnie during Escape the Fate’s live performances, while Ronnie responded on social media networks; Craig then began dating Ronnie’s former girlfriend – hostilities only ended in 2014, when Escape the Fate and Ronnie’s new band both headlined the Bury the Hatchet tour.

Ronnie began writing new music while incarcerated in High Desert State Prison, and together with Nason Schoeffier founded Falling in Reverse; the first idea for the band’s name was From Behind These Walls. Ronnie then feuded with the band I See Stars and the record label Sumerian Records, releasing the diss track “I Wash Cars”; the founder of Sumerian Records Ash Avildsen responded with his own diss track “When Ronnie Met Sally”, but the feud has since been resolved.

About Peter Steele: A Tragic Tale of Fame, Addiction and Death

Published

on

Who was Peter Steele?

The late American singer-songwriter Petrus Thomas Ratajczyk – known better by his professional name Peter Steele – was born in New York City, USA, on 4 January 1962, meaning that Capricorn was his zodiac sign. He’s perhaps remembered best for having been the lead vocalist and bassist of the gothic metal band Type O Negative, while he had previously been a founding member of the trash metal band Carnivore and the heavy metal band Fallout.

Education and early life

Peter was raised in New York City alongside his five older sisters, by their Catholic parents; his mother was a housewife and passed away aged 83 in 2005, and his father was a World War II veteran and died in 1995, aged 74.

Peter was 12 when he began playing the guitar, and 13 when he took on the bass guitar; although left-handed, he played bass as if he were right-handed. This happened because he was to be kicked from one of his first bands Aggression unless he switched from rhythm to bass guitar; left-handed bass guitars were expensive at that time, so Peter learned to play the right-handed bass.

He studied at a local high school in New York City, and upon matriculating in 1980 began working for the New Yok City’s Department of Parks and Recreation.

Peter’s career

Peter’s music career was officially launched in 1979, when he formed the band Fallout; they disbanded in 1982, and he then formed Carnivore. He attracted quite a lot of attention while performing with Carnivore, mostly with his songs which dealt with misogyny, war and religion; their debut album “Carnivore” came out in 1985, and was followed by their second album “Retaliation” in 1986. Carnivore disbanded in 1988.

Peter and his childhood friends Sal Abruscato, Kenny Hickey and Josh Silver founded their band Type O Negative in 1989; its original name was ‘Repulsion’, but was changed in 1990 because of the grindcore band with the same name. Peter wanted the band’s second name to be Subzero, but after he learned that the name was taken, he went along with Type O Negative; the band was then signed to Roadrunner Records.

Their first album “Slow, Deep and Hard” came out in 1991, and the band toured Europe to support it; their second album “The Origin of the Feces” was released in 1992. They became famous after their third album, “Bloody Kisses” came out in 1993, mostly about death, sex and love; it was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and made Type O Negative one of the most popular gothic metal bands in the US.

The band’s fourth album “October Rust” came out in 1996, and was certified Gold by RIAA. Peter was dealing with personal issues during the making of Type O Negative’s fifth album “World Coming down”, released in 1999, thus its themes of drug addiction and death.

The band’s sixth album “Life Is Killing Me” followed on 17 June 2003, and the year 2005 saw Type O Negative leave Roadrunner Records and sign with SPV Records. They performed at the 2006 Wacken Open Air Festival, and the following year saw the release of their seventh and final album “Dead Again”.

Other work

Peter posed nude for a 1995 issue of the magazine “Playgirl”, and was disappointed about doing it after learning that only about 20 percent of its readers were female.

He made a guest appearance in numerous talk-shows, including “The Howard Stern Show”, “The Jerry Springer Show” and “Ricki Lake”, while he was also a bit of an actor, having appeared in a 2003 episode of the series “Oz” and the 2003 movie “Dirtbags (Armpit of Metal)”. Peter also appeared in the 2005 movie “Bad Acid”, and was featured in the 2011 documentary movie “Living the American Nightmare”.

Death

Peter gave an interview not long before his death, revealing that his drug addiction had caused his health to decline.

He was 48 when he died on 14 April 2010, from sepsis caused by diverticulitis. The members of the band Type O Negative chose to disband rather than to find someone to replace Peter, claiming that they had no interest in continuing with Peter gone,. stating that ‘Type O Negative died with Peter’.

Many bands paid tribute to Peter by releasing songs about him, including the band Necrophagia with song “Trick R. Treat (The Last Halloween)” and the band Lacuna Soil with “My Spirit”, while Biohazard dedicated their entire 2012 album “Reborn in Defiance” to Peter.

Love life and relationships

Many of Peter’s songs were about his unsuccessful relationships, as well as about his unsuccessful marriage.

He married non-celebrity American Donna White in 1984, and she often travelled with Type O Negative during their tours; it’s believed that the two had been together for two years prior to exchanging vows, but they divorced in the same year.

Peter was also once in a relationship with Mardie Sheiken, a non-celebrity American woman, but no details about her have been disclosed.

Peter was single at the time of his death, was once married to Donna White and didn’t have children.

Interesting facts and mental health issues

Peter disappeared from media in 2005, and rumors about his death began circulating the internet; he returned in 2006 and revealed that he had spent some time at Kings County Hospital’s psychiatric ward, as his drug addiction had led him to develop paranoia. He stated that he was suffering from bipolar disorder and was often depressed, and had switched from being an atheist to being Roman Catholic in 2007; it’s also widely known that Peter had tried to commit suicide by cutting his wrists on 15 October 1989.

Despite his ‘menacing stage appearance’, Peter was described as a ‘friendly, funny and generous man’ by his friends and colleagues, while famous British musician Anthony Frank Iommi of the no longer active British rock ‘n’ roll band Black Sabbath described him as a ‘tall, big and very, very nice guy’.

Some of Peter’s favorite hobbies were lifting weights, reading books about science, and customizing his 1985 Pontiac Grand Prix car.

Appearance and wealth

Peter had brown eyes and black hair, was 6ft 8ins (2.03m) tall and weighed around 245lbs (110kgs).

His net worth, at the time of his passing, was estimated at over $1 million.
