Rise to Fame, Studio Albums, Hiatus
In 2002, ‘Fall Out Boy’ released the split EP, entitled “Project Rocket/Fall Out Boy”, alongside the pop-punk band ‘Project Rocket’. It was followed by their mini-EP, “Fall Out Boy’s Evening Out With Your Girlfriend” in 2003. During the same year, the band released their debut studio album, “Take This To Your Grave”, after which they signed a recording contract with Island Records, and released the EP “My Heart Will Always Be The B-Side To My Tongue” (2004). The band’s second studio album, “From Under The Cork Tree”, came out in 2005, and spawned the single “Sugar, We’re Goin Down”, which reached No. 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, while the album peaked at No. 2 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
In 2007, the band produced their third studio album, “Infinity On High”, with such hit singles as “This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race” and “Thnks Fr Th Mmrs” – the album topped the US Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum by the RIAA. Before the band went on a hiatus in 2009, they released their fourth studio album, entitled “Folie à Deux” (2008), which debuted at No. 8 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
‘Fall Out Boy’ Return and Continued Success
