Marcus Rosner Wiki Bio
Marcus Rosner was born in Campbell River, British Columbia, Canada, on 10 August 1989 – his zodiac sign is Leo and he holds Canadian nationality. He is an actor who might be known best for his portrayal of Warren Johnson in six 2018 episodes of the drama “UnREAL”, created by Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro, and which starred Shiri Appleby, Craig Bierko and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman. The series shows ‘behind the scenes’ of a dating competition show, and it won five awards while it was nominated for 18 others, including two Primetime Emmys.
Childhood and education
Marcus was raised an only child in Canada by his father who was an insurance agent, and his mother who was a lawyer – the family moved very often, while Marcus spent most of his childhood in Sherwood Park in Alberta.
He became interested in acting at a very early age, as he would often watch TV with his parents. He practiced his acting skills with his high school’s drama club, while he was also interested in playing football and soccer. Although Marcus wanted to pursue an acting career straight away, his parents urged him to pursue a college degree, and he thus enrolled at a university and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2011.

Marcus made his debut TV series appearance in 2012, when he portrayed Richard Armstrong in the episode “Witness” of the fantasy horror drama “The Secret Circle”, created by Andrew Miller, and which starred Britt Robertson, Thomas Dekker and Phoebe Tonkin. It is about a teenager who, after the death of her mother, learns that she and five other teens are witches – the series won one award and was nominated for two others.
Marcus went on to appear in single episodes of many series, such as the drama “This American Housewife”, the documentary series “Untold Stories of the ER”, and the action science fiction thriller “Continuum”.

The year 2014 saw him play Kent in the episode “We Are Family” of the action drama “Rush”, and in 2015 Marcus appeared in two episodes of the comedy drama “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce”.
He gained recognition in the same year when he portrayed Charles Kensington in seven episodes of the romantic drama “When Calls the Heart”, which starred Erin Krakow and Martin Cummins, and is about a school teacher who moves from a big city to a small coal mining town to teach there – it won 20 awards and was nominated for 30 others. Marcus continued to appear in single episodes of series such as the comedy “Single & Dating in Vancouver”, the drama “Ghost Unit”, and the romantic comedy “You Me Her”.

The year 2015 saw him portray Jack Collins in the romantic comedy “A Christmas Detour” written by Mark Amato, directed by Ron Oliver, and which starred Candace Cameron Bure, Paul Greene and Sarah Strange.

The first picture featuring the two together was uploaded in August 2017, when Marcus referred to his partner as ‘bunny’ – he has since uploaded numerous pictures of them together, while they can be seen kissing in some of these. The girl is said to be working as a fitness coach at a gym, and there are rumors circulating the internet that the two might have become engaged in early 2020, however, this hasn’t been confirmed.
As of November 2020, Marcus is dating a mysterious girl, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.
Hobbies and other interests
Marcus is physically quite active, as he has five to six training sessions at the gym each week, and is following a special diet made for him by his nutritionist, thus his muscular body. He’s also very sporting and often goes swimming, while he’s also an avid skier.
Marcus is keen on travelling and his acting career has taken him all around Canada as well as to several US states such as New York, California and Texas – he hasn’t so far been to Europe, but is planning to visit Paris in France with his other half.
He is a lover of animals and has a pet dog.
