The glam-rock veteran from Hollywood, Vince Neil, has built up some legacy for his children, including his daughter Elizabeth Ashley Wharton. Although known for his turbulent life and multiple arrests, his daughter has taken the other road, and has been away from the media. For now, she is only known for being the daughter of the famous musician.

Elizabeth Ashley Wharton was born on the 29th October 1983, in California USA; she is the daughter of Vince Neil and his first wife, Beth Lynn.

Her parents married in 1981, but their romance ended in 1985. At the time, Elizabeth was just four years old and had a tough time getting used to the new situation. She has an older half-brother, Neil Jason Wharton, who was born in 1978, while her half-sister, Skylar passed away at four years of age in 1995, losing her battle with cancer.

Elizabeth has hidden her professional life from the media, although it’s known that she’s a guitarist and singer, but doesn’t appear to have done anything professionally.

However, her love life is an open book. Vince’s daughter is a married woman, and her husband is Will Loomis, also a musician. The couple married in 2014 and since then have welcomed a daughter, Hailee Marie, born on the 13th January 2015.

Born Vincent Neil Wharton on the 8th February 1961 in Hollywood, California USA; of Mexican and Native American ancestry, he is the son of Clois ‘Odie’ Wharton, and his wife Shirley.

The family moved a lot in his youth throughout Southern California, living in Inglewood, Watts, and other cities, before they made Glendora their home. He went to Sunflower Intermediate School and later attended Royal Oak High School.

Vince Neil’s Career

Vince started developing an interest in music in his teenage years and one of his first bands was Rock Candy. During one of their shows, he was spotted by members of Motley Crue, including Tommy Lee who was his high school friend. So he joined Motley Crue in 1981 and in his first stint remained with the band until 1992.

During this time, Vince and the rest of the Crew attained world fame with such releases as “Too Fast for Love”, their debut album, then “Shout at the Devil” (1983), and their most successful album “Dr. Feelgood” (1989), which achieved six times platinum status in the US, and three times platinum in Canada, while it was also their only album that topped the Billboard 200 chart. He left the band in early 1992, however, he returned five years later, and they started working on the new album, “Generation Swine”, which was released that same year and reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. Their last release was the 2008 album “Saints of Los Angeles”. They played until 2015 but went on hiatus until 2018. Since then, they have announced that the band is working on new music.

Solo Career

In addition to his exceptional career with one of the most popular glam/hard-rock bands, Vince has also released his own material. He has three solo albums – his debut album came out on the 27th April 1993, entitled “Exposed”, and reached No. 13 on the Billboard 200 chart. His second studio album was nowhere near the success he had with the band, as it reached only No. 139 on the Billboard 200 chart. His latest solo release was the album from 2010 entitled “Tattoos & Tequila”, which reached No. 57 on Billboard 200, No. 14 on the US Rock chart, and had its best placing on the US Indie chart, as it climbed to No. 7.

Vince has been known for the ups and downs that he’s experienced during his life; a public figure who enjoys fame, Vince has led himself into several unpleasant situations.

He has been married and divorced four times and has two children; his first wife was Beth Lynn, to whom he was married from 1981 until 1985. Two years later he married a mud wrestler and fashion model, Sharise Ruddell – their marriage lasted until 1993, and produced daughter Skylar, who died in 1995. In 1999 he started a romance with Heidi Mark, a Playboy Playmate, and the two married in 2000, but divorced in 2001 after just 15 months of marriage.

Vince’s fourth marriage was to Lia Gerardini, from 2005 to 2010.

Run-Ins With the Law

He has had several problems with the law; he killed Nicholas ‘Razzle’ Dingley in a car accident, driving with an alcohol level of 0.17. He spent 15 days in jail and was fined with $2.6 million in restitution to the victims of the crash, and sentenced to 200 hours of community service, and five years of probation. He was also arrested for punching record producer Michael Schuman, and for reckless driving – the original charges were for DUI, but were dropped in a deal he made with prosecutors.

Humanitarian Work

Despite his problematic life, Vince has also contributed to the community, as he is a part of several charitable organizations, and has started the Skylar Neil Memorial Foundation, in honor of his late daughter, through which Vince has donated millions to The T.J. Martell Foundation. Furthermore, he has also hosted a series of benefit concerts called Rockin’ the Red Carpet.
