Heather Taddy is an American television persona, who is perhaps most widely recognized as a documentary maker as well as a paranormal investigator and ghost hunter, best known from appearing in the A&E Network TV’s reality show “Paranormal State”. Additionally, she is recognized for starring in the Sci-Fi Documentary Series “Alien Highway”.
Early Life and Education
Heather was born under the zodiac sign of Scorpio on the 16th November 1985, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and is of American nationality and of white ethnicity.

With torchlight and a video camera, she had even taken groups of friends on a variety of excursions and trips to explore what are believed to be haunted locations all over the States, documenting these unique experiences. Less than a year after her graduation from Penn State, Heather began working alongside her role models, Ed and Lorraine Warren.
“Paranormal State”
To greater prominence young Heather came in late 2007, when she began appearing as a crew member of the A&E Networks’ at that time new reality show – “Paranormal State“. Following the student-led college club, the Penn State’s notorious PRS, the plot follows a group of seven young investigators exploring a variety of haunted localities and phenomena in the USA. Each episode covered a different paranormal story, from helping people who are seeing the dead via exorcism and pagan cleansing processes, to detecting and hunting ghosts, visiting a variety of locations such as abandoned hospitals, prisons and mental asylums.
Despite facing different criticism, ranging from being called spooky and scary to ‘one of the worst televisions shows’, this whole endeavor has certainly brought a huge dose of popu
larity and fame to Heather Taddy. She appeared in the total of 43 episodes through the show’s five seasons, before it was eventually called off in mid-2011.
Other Career Highlights
Following her success with the “Paranormal State” show, in the following year of 2012 Taddy appeared in an episode of the web reality series “Ghost Bait”.
After three-year-long hiatus, in 2015 she returned to the small screen and appeared as the host in a series of short horror films, such as “Rawhead”, “The Origin of Species”, “The Jones” and “Revelations”.
In 2017, Heather tried her luck behind the cameras, this time as a producer and a writer of a short musical video entitled “Space Doll”. In 2019 she appeared in an episode entitled “Halloween Spooktacular 4” of the TV comedy series “Fashion Trashin”, in which she portrayed the role of Espidera Van Hellthing.
“Alien Highway”
The biggest breakthrough in Taddy’s career since “Paranormal State” occurred later in 2019, when she teamed up with one of the America’s most famous UFO investigator Chuck Zukowski and his son Daniel, in the TV Sci-Fi mystery documentary series “Alien Highway“. The show is following the abovementioned trio in pursuit of finding definitive proof of UFO existence along USA’s so-called ‘Extraterrestrial Highway‘ – the notorious NV-375 highway in Nevada, close to Area 51.

Despite her popularity and regular on-camera appearances, Heather has managed to keep her private life far from mass media’s attention, as there isn’t any available information regarding her personal affairs and romantic connections. Despite the circulating rumors that she was married to her co-star Ryan Buell, which were later denied, there are no relevant details about her dating history.
When not in the search of the paranormal, Taddy is dedicated to music, as she is a member of the punk music project named Glowworms.
