She’s been featured on television numerous times, and has also appeared in several music videos.

Early Life and Online Beginnings

Tamera grew up in California, and at a young age had aspirations to make it big in the entertainment industry. She desired fame and fortune, though it wasn’t particularly easy with the heavy competition present. She went on with her life not thinking too much about it, and grew up alongside a younger brother whom she became very close to. The duo loved comedy, and loved creating comedy skits of their own.

Eventually, she discovered the online platform Instagram, an online video and photo sharing social media website owned by Facebook.

Wanting to find a bit of fame on Instagram, she created an account though she didn’t opt for a career as an Instagram model, which was common for attractive women. Instead, she used her account as an outlet to channel some of her creativity and comedy ideas. She posted short skit videos that featured jokes, comedy sketches, dances, and more. Early in her career she worked alongside her brother, and her comedic talent soon attracted attention.

Rise to Fame

Tee’s popularity grew quickly, and soon she was getting offers from various companies to promote their products, due to her large following.

Her wealth began to grow as well, as she also received invitations to do commercials. She had a following, the acting talent, the confidence, and the comedic skill to pull it off; she also showcased her improvisational skills online.

Eventually she was hired to become one of the recurring cast members in the MTV television show “Wild N’ Out”, hosted by Nick Cannon. The show is a comedy and improvisational show, akin to “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” In each episode, two teams consisting of comedians and popular entertainers battle it out in a series of improvisational games. The battle doesn’t have any merit, but is done to promote a bit of competitiveness, while also providing entertainment to the audience.

One of the most popular games in “Wild N’ Out” is its final round called Wild Style, in which the team members battle it out through freestyle rap. The show has been running for over 15 seasons – she began appearing during its 12th season.

More Opportunities

Her work on television would open more opportunities for her, and soon she was cast in guest roles in several programs. She appeared in the show “Rosewood” playing the character Kitty,  in the police procedural series following the titular pathologist who closely works with law enforcement within the Miami area. She also made a guest appearance in the reality television program “Real Husbands of Hollywood”, which airs on BET and is a parody of the various reality programs that showcase the spouses of celebrities.

The show was created by comedian Kevin Hart and features numerous comedy personalities.

Tee then got her first hosting role, as she was cast in the commentary show “World Star TV”, a collaboration between WorldStar Hip Hop and All Def Digital. The show features her alongside other comedians, as they comment on clips from WorldStar. The site is known for showcasing hip hop music videos, street fights, and other content, with the African-American audience in mind. She also became one of the hosts for “BET Music”, and also worked on a promotion for the film “Straight Out of Compton”.

Other Projects

Apart from acting, Tee continues to do modeling work brought about by sponsors or partners from Instagram. She also updates her account regularly, though she doesn’t have time to post as many comedic posts as she used to. Instead, she posts a lot of modeling photos, and uses the platform to promote some of her advocacies. Her popularity remains strong, as her account moves closer to having two million subscribers. She has also taken commercial work, often appearing in national commercials for well- known companies, such as Honda, Adidas, Google, and Fiat.

In 2018, she was hired to become one of the models for the cosmetics brand Cover Girl; as a part of the company’s strategy, they often hire celebrities including singers, actresses and models who have appeared on the cover of magazines as their models, to impart that their cosmetics are the ones being used by these women. They offer a variety of cosmetics targeting the average consumer. In recent months, she’s mostly been continuing to work on her online presence at home, especially since most of the world is in quarantine due to the spread of the coronavirus. She posts a lot of selfies and photos taken from photoshoots.

Personal Life

Tee is single, and hasn’t talked a lot about any past or present romantic endeavors. She used to have breast implants as she was insecure about her breast size when she was younger. However, she later decided to remove them as of course they didn’t feel natural. She has since become an advocate of body appreciation, talking more about her experience with breast implants and removing them.

She’s also been outspoken during the Black Lives Matter movement, as protests and riots continue to go on within the US. She is of mixed-race, but still identifies as a part of the African-American demographic. She has expressed her support for the community through numerous online posts.
