Who is Kaynette Williams?

Kaynette Williams is an elementary school math teacher, but she is best known as a former wife of country singer and musician Blake Shelton. She served as his manager until their divorce in 2006. She hasn’t pursued a different career, though she had several other interests.

Kaynette Williams’ Biography, Age, Education

Kaynette Francis Gern was born on 20 February 1973, in Ada, Oklahoma, USA. Her father worked as a news presenter at a local television station, while her mother worked in a private school. Kaynette Williams went to high school in Ada, and then took up two degrees and completed both, in Finance and Human Science.

Kaynette Williams’ Career

Kaynette Williams had an interest in fashion design and television, but didn’t have enough time to pursue a career in fashion as she began working as a manager of her future husband, Blake Shelton, hosting various events before becoming Shelton’s manager.

Kaynette Williams’ marriage and divorce

Kaynette and Blake Shelton were high school sweethearts, and were dating for years prior to their marriage in 2003. The two married in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, in a small ceremony on 17 November – Blake sang Conway Twitty’s “Julia” to his bride.

Kaynette worked as Shelton’s road manager until their divorce in 2006; the couple didn’t have any children, and the reason for divorce was Blake’s infidelity – when asked why she divorced Shelton, Williams stated that he was guilty of inappropriate marital conduct. Kaynette returned to Oklahoma after the divorce, and later dated Cody Joe Scheck, the world record holder for steer-roping, a rodeo activity.

Kaynette Williams’ Net Worth

Kaynette Williams’ net worth is estimated at $600,000, but this is conservative as it’s known that she received a considerable amount of money from Blake Shelton following their divorce.

She’s also added more money to her wealth through her work as a math teacher at elementary school.

Kaynette Williams’ Personal Life

Williams enjoys literature, which is her greatest passion. Rumors were going around that Kaynette became a lesbian after divorcing Blake Shelton, but she’s denied all of these rumors. Kaynette is a women’s rights activist, and has worked with several organizations that are helping women in today’s society. Another rumor surfaced a few years ago when Kaynette tried to sell off her size 6 Demetrios wedding gown at a starting price of $700 on eBay.

It was Kaynette’s friend’s eBay account, and no bids were made on the item. Although many reported that Williams was desperate to offload the gown to collect money as she was broke, that story was never confirmed.

Kaynette Williams’ ex-husband Blake Shelton Age and Early Life

Blake Tollison Shelton was born on 18 June 1976, in Ada, Oklahoma, to Richard Shelton, a used car salesman, and Dorothy, a beauty salon owner. Blake’s uncle taught him how to play the guitar after he started singing at an early age, then at the age of 15, Shelton wrote his first song. Blake’s older brother Richie died in a car accident in October 1990. His father, Dick, 71, died in Oklahoma in 2012, after a period of declining health.

Blake Shelton’s Career

Blake Shelton is an American country music singer and television personality, with more than ten studio albums. Shelton made his debut in 2001 with the single “Austin,” which peaked at the top of the US country chart, while his debut album “Blake Shelton” reached the No. 3 spot. A year later, Shelton released what became another No. 1 single – “The Baby” – and his second album “The Dreamer” peaked at No. 2 at the US Billboard Top Country Albums, and was certified gold; Shelton’s next studio album “Blake Shelton’s Barn & Grill” (2004), went one better, and received platinum certification.

Shelton recorded two more albums in the 2000s and six more in the next decade, including the most recent “Texoma Shore” in 2017, which reached the top spot on the US Top Country Albums chart, and peaked at the No. 4 on the Billboard 200.

The Voice

Shelton is also known as a television personality, and was a coach on the NBC show “The Voice”. In the opening season, his finalist Dia Frampton finished in second place, and subsequently recorded a track with Shelton entitled “I Will” on her album Red, released in 2011.

Blake came back for a second season of the show, and his finalist Jermaine Paul became the champion. In season three, Shelton’s team member, Cassadee Pope, won the competition, with another Team Blake participant Terry McDermott ending as runner-up. With Miranda Lambert, Shelton sang “America the Beautiful” at the Super Bowl XLVI in February 2012. In his almost two decade-long career, Shelton has garnered eight Grammy nominations, including for Best Country Album, Best Music Film, and Best Country Solo Performance.

Blake Shelton’s Personal Life, Relationships, and Marriages

As of early-2020, Megan Wollover’s net worth is estimated to be over $1 million, earned through success in her various endeavors. While she doesn’t work as much as she used to, she probably also benefits from the wealth accrued by her husband, as Morgan has a net worth estimated to be over $50 million, thanks to a successful career in comedy.

Early Life, Education, and Relationship Beginnings

Megan grew up in New Jersey and remained there for most of her life. After matriculating from high school, she enrolled at Crimini College, and around this time developed an interest in modeling. Shortly after graduating, started to work as a model, appearing in several projects.

She was intent on finding a long term partner romance-wise but had a lot of relationship problems. She shared with a friend who turned out to be friendly with Morgan, who at the time had just had a falling out from a previous relationship, and was looking for a partner.

The two were introduced to each other through a blind date; she was surprised that she was on a date with a well-known comedian, but was impressed by his engaging conversation and genuine demeanor. Apparently he thought that she was very beautiful, and started to fall in love.

The Life of Tracy Morgan

Tracy had a troubled childhood. He was the son of a veteran from the Vietnam War who returned home as a heroin addict, a vice that would cause him to leave the family when Tracy was just six years old.

During high school, Tracy became romantically involved with a woman named Sabrina and they had a child together, however, learning that his father had contracted AIDS from a hypodermic needle, he dropped out of high school to care for him father. Struggling with no stable job while raising a son, he resorted to selling cocaine, but this endeavor was also unsuccessful.

In 1996, he became a cast member of “Saturday Night Live”, and worked with the prestigious show until 2003, establishing himself as one of its top cast members. Three years after leaving the show, he became a cast member of the series “30 Rock” as the character Tracy Jordan, and his performance was well-received, leading to his Emmy win.

Engagement and Accident

After a few years of dating, Wollover and Morgan became engaged – the couple went to a jewelry store to have a few of Morgan’s jewels fixed, and it was then that he made a surprising proposal.

At the time he was estranged from his family, having a falling out with them after the divorce settlement from his first wife. They planned their wedding for a long time, delayed due to work. And meantime they had a daughter, born in 2013. The couple set their marriage for 2014 but another tragic event occurred. While Morgan was traveling with friends and fellow comedians on a tour, his minibus was hit by a Walmart tractor-trailer, and involving a chain reaction that hit four other vehicles in the area.

He suffered a broken nose, broken leg, and several broken limbs, while one of his friends, comedian James McNair, passed away.

The driver was later given a plea deal so didn’t serve jail time. Morgan returned to the public a year after the accident, nearly fully recovered. He still has bad days but he’s regained nearly all of his physical and mental faculties. He had also forgiven the driver for the accident.
