She is an actress, perhaps still best known for her portrayal of Morgan Matthews in the comedy drama family series “Boy Meets World” which aired from 1993 to 2000, and which starred Ben Savage, Rider Strong, and William Daniels. Lily was raised an only child in Los Angeles by her father who is a businessman, and her mother who is a theatre actress. Lily became interested in acting thanks to her mother, who often took her to the local theatre to watch plays together, and by the time Lily finished elementary school, she had appeared in several plays performed there. She attended a local high school where she was a member of the school’s drama club, while she was also physically active as she played soccer and tennis. Upon matriculation in 2006, Lily enrolled at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, from which she eventually graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Latin and Ancient Greek in 2011.

Lily’s debut TV series appearance was in “Boy Meets World” in 1993, and her next role was in 2000 when she appeared as Melissa Tory in the episode “Waterworld” of the legal drama series “Judging Amy”, which starred Amy Brenneman and Tyne Daly, and is about a daughter, mother, and grandmother who are living in Hartford in Connecticut. The series was a huge success winning 13 awards and being nominated for 47 others, including three Golden Globes. Some of Lily’s latest appearance in theatre plays have been in the 1944 play “Harvey” performed at Laguna Playhouse in 2019, William Shakespeare’s play “Measure for Measure” performed at Ensemble Theatre Company in 2019 as well, and the romantic comedy play “Barefoot in the Park” at Laguna Playhouse in 2020.

In 2002, Lily was nominated for an Ovation Award for Featured Actress in a Play for “The Wild Duck” while her next Ovation Award nomination for Best Production of a Play (Large Theatre) came in 2015 for “Last Train to Nibroc”.
