Lola Burr was born on 20 January 2017, in Los Angeles, California, USA to an American father, Bill Burr, and African-American mother, Nia Renee Hill. She is a Capricorn, and her birthstone is ruby. Lola is now three years old. Bill and Nia reportedly met at a comedy show. They were together for quite some time before getting married in September 2013. Bill was 48 years old when he became a father.

William Frederick ‘Bill’ Burr was born on 10 June 1968, in Canton, Massachusetts USA, to Robert Edmund Burr and Linda Ann Wigent. His father was of mostly Irish and partly German descent and was a dentist, his mother was a nurse. He matriculated from high school in 1987 and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in radio from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts in 1993.

First step

His career in comedy started in 1992, and two years later he moved to New York.

It was in December 1996 when he debuted as an actor on television, in the role of Ryan Callahan in ABC’s sitcom, “Townies,” which ran for a season of 15 episodes, five of which were left unaired. He first appeared in the movies in the 2001 thriller “Perfect Fit,” as a doorman. Bill continued appearing in movies and television such as in the police procedural drama series, “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” in 2002; the comedy sketch series “Chappelle’s Show” in 2004; and the black comedy movie, “Twisted Fortune,” in 2007. He was also the voice for the character of Jason Michaels in the “Grand Theft Auto IV” video game in 2008, and for its first expansion pack in 2009.

Bill was cast in the role of a con man named Patrick Kuby in the award-winning crime drama television series, “Breaking Bad,” for five episodes between 2011 and 2013, which won a lot of awards such as the Outstanding Drama Series in 2013 and 2014 from Primetime Emmy Awards. It’s considered by many critics as one of the greatest television series of all time, and made it into the Guinness World Records in 2013, as the ‘most critically acclaimed show of all time.’

He’s been part of successful movies too, such as the 2013 action-comedy “The Heat,” starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy; it had a worldwide gross of more than $200 million against a budget of $40 million.

Bill played the role of Detective Smart in six episodes of Comedy Central’s comedy sketch series, “Kroll Show” (2014-2015).

He also had a small role in the 2015 comedy film, “Daddy’s Home,” starring Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell that had a worldwide gross of more than $240 million against a production budget of almost $70 million. Its sequel, “Daddy’s Home 2,” in 2017 also starred Wahlberg and Ferrell as well as Mel Gibson and John Lithgow, and it grossed more than $180 million against a budget of $70 million. He was cast as the former Imperial shooter, Mayfeld, and appeared in episode six of the first live-action series in the “Star Wars” franchise, “The Mandalorian.” Its first season premiered on 12 November 2019 on Disney+, and it received positive reviews from critics.

“F is for Family”

Burr together with American writer and producer, Michael Price, created the animated sitcom, “F is for Family” for Netflix, which premiered to positive reviews on 18 December 2015, with six episodes. It was renewed for season 2 with 10 episodes, which was released in May 2017 and for season 3 with 10 episodes, released in November 2018, and season 4 is scheduled for release in 2020. The show is set in the early to mid-70s, following a dysfunctional Irish-American family. His role is that of Francis “Frank” Murphy, a foul-mouthed and quick-tempered Korean War veteran, who is also the husband of Sue Murphy, played/voiced by Laura Dern, and a father of three. He is also the voice actor for Father Pat.

Stand-up comedy special

From 2003 to 2011, he made six stand-up comedy specials such as “Emotionally Unavailable” for CD release, “One Night Stand” for HBO Special, and “Live at Andrew’s House” for vinyl release. Most of his stand-up specials are available on Spotify. His stand-up comedy, “You People Are All The Same,” was filmed at the Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D.C. and was released on Netflix in August 2012. It was followed by three more stand-up specials, all written and performed by him, and released on Netflix from 2014 to 2019. He went on tour in the UK and Europe from January to May of 2019, and has more tours scheduled from April to September 2020.

He is a popular podcaster, and hosts “Bill’s Monday Morning Podcast.”

It first aired in May 2007 and is available on his website and on All Things Comedy podcast network, which he co-founded with comedian and writer, Al Madrigal in October 2012. Burr also appears as a guest on podcasts of other comedians, such as Adam Buxton and Tom Green. Who is Nia Renee Hill?

Nia Renee Hill was born on 2 June 1969, in L.A., to American parents, who divorced while she was still young; she lived with her mother and stepfather, and visited her biological father during the holidays.

Her work in the entertainment industry started when she became a casting assistant for the drama series, “The Education of Max Bickford” in 2001, and she also worked as a talent co-ordinator for the “Chappelle’s Show.”

She was in two episodes of “Lila, Long Distance” in 2011, followed by a small role in the movie, “Did You Look for Work This Week?” in 2012. Nia was in two episodes of the horror-comedy web series, “Santa Clarita Diet,” in 2017, released on Netflix and starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant. She sometimes joined her husband, Bill, on his morning podcasts. She also worked as a writer for an American online magazine, “xoJane” (2011-2016).
