Luisa D’Oliveira is a Canadian actress, who is best known to the world as Emori in the TV sci-fi mystery series “The 100” (2015-2020). She introduced herself to the world years prior, as Detective Poppy Wisnefski in the crime-mystery series “Cracked” (2013), among numerous other roles in her career.

Luisa D’Oliveira was born on the 6th October 1986, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; she is of mixed ancestry, as she is of Chinese, Portuguese, French, Irish and Scottish descent.
She was brought up a Catholic, but as she got older she stopped going to church, and doesn’t consider herself a practicing Catholic anymore. She is not the only child as she has a brother, Nate D’Oliveira. She was interested in acting from childhood, and began appearing in local theater plays even before high school. Although she attended science classes at the university, she soon turned to acting, and said that science wasn’t creative enough for her, and focused entirely on acting. Luisa was 21 years old when her career began, cast in the role of Elizabeth in the short film “The Vent” (2007). She continued her career with one-time appearances in several TV series, such as “Supernatural” (2008), and “The Guard” (2008). The following year she secured a minor role in the action-adventure film “Storm Seekers”, starring Daryl Hannah, Dylan Neal and Barclay Hope, and also appeared in the mystery thriller film “Stranger with My Face”, with Catherine Hicks, Alexz Johnson and Andrew Francis in the lead roles.
In the next two years, Luisa was building a name for herself in television films and series, and was also the Aphrodite Girl in the film “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief”, which starred Logan Lerman and Alexandra Daddario. In 2015 she was selected as Emori in the new sci-fi mystery series “The 100”, and joined its cast including Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley and Marie Avgeropoulos, among other stars. So far she has appeared in 39 episodes of the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated series, which has launched her to stardom.
Concurrently since 2015, Luisa has worked on several other projects, including the TV crime-mystery series “Motive”, in which she portrayed Maria Snow in nine episodes, then she was Patty in the television movie “Love on the Sidelines” (2016), starring Emily Kinney, John Reardon, and Hayley Sales, and the same year had the role of Amy Welch in the fourth and ultimate season of the SyFy fantasy horror series “Channel Zero”, before this one also saw its abrupt end.
Most recently, Luisa had a double role in the fantasy series “Supergirl” (2019), and also appeared in “The Twilight Zone” (2019).
