Marlon Webb’s career officially started with the beginning of the rise of social media, when he created an account on the highly popular platform for six-second-length videos, called Vine. He immediately started filming and uploading various short videos of comedy content. Marlon also collaborated with future Instagram star  Arberi Ferraj. His talent and charisma brought numerous viewers to the channel, and gained him more than 1.2 million subscribers at the time when Vine was shut down in January 2017.

Rise to Prominence

Following the cancellation of the community website Vine, Marlon switched to other social media platforms. He created his official Instagram account under the username ‘marlonwebb’, on which he continued to share short comic videos. In addition, he expanded his influence by creating his own Facebook page, and sharing the same content.
