Olivia Rodrigo was born in Temecula, California USA, on 20 February 2003 – her zodiac sign is Pisces, she is of Filipino descent, and holds American nationality. She is an actress, singer and an Instagram star, who is perhaps best known for her portrayal of the lead character Paige Olvera in the comedy series “Bizaardvark” which aired from 2016 to 2019, and which was created by Josh Lehrman and Kyle Stegina. The series also starred Madison Hu and DeVore Ledridge, and follows two girls who are best friends and are running their blog “Bizaardvark”, which is about music and funny videos – the series won two awards and was nominated for seven others.
Childhood and education
Olivia is being raised an only child in Temecula by her father who is a musician, and her mother who is working at a local theatre.
She started singing at the age of four, and was later encouraged by her teachers at Lisa J. Mails Elementary School to try acting, as singing and acting often go along perfectly together. Olivia took her teachers’ advice, and began appearing in the school’s plays, then after enrolling at Dorothy McElhinney Middle School, continued appearing in plays there. In 2016 after she was offered a role in “Bizaardvark”, Olivia’s family moved to Los Angeles in California, and she started attending a high school there.

Career as an actress
Olivia made her debut film appearance in 2015, when cast to portray Grace Thomas, one of the lead characters in the comedy musical “Grace Stirs Up Success”, also starring Virginia Madsen and Caitlin Carmichael, and which is about Grace who goes to Paris with her family, and there has to get along with Sylvie, her annoying French cousin – the movie received mixed reviews, and was nominated for a single award.
In 2017 she guest starred as Terrinea in the episode “Young Adult” of the comedy series “New Girl”, starring Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson and Max Greenfield, and which follows a girl who moves in with three single man after breaking-up with her long-term boyfriend – the series aired from 2011 to 2018, and was a big success as it won 11 awards and was nominated for 72 others, including five Golden Globes. Olivia went on to appear in two short films – “Disney Channel Stars: DuckTales Theme Song” and “Disney Channel Stars: Legendary” – while she also appeared in the short film “Olivia Rodrigo: All I Want” in 2020.
Her most recent role has been portraying the lead character Nin,i in 11 episodes of the comedy drama series “High School Musical: The Musical – The Series” during 2020, created by Tim Federle and which also starred Joshua Bassett and Matt Cornett. The series received mostly positive reviews, and was nominated for a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Kids & Family Programming.

Olivia could’ve been seen appearing in several talk shows and TV specials. Olivia hasn’t talked about any boys she might have dated before meeting Ethan, and it’s believed that he is her first love – as of October 2020, she is in a relationship, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.
Hobbies and other interests
Olivia likes to listen to music in her spare time, and is currently mostly influenced by PJ Harvey, Phoebe Bridgers and Fiona Apple. She began taking piano lessons at the age of six, and at the age of 12 started learning to play the guitar – she is still practicing both today.
Summer is her favorite season as she likes to spend her free time at the beach, sun tanning, playing beach soccer and volleyball – she is also keen on swimming in the ocean and snorkeling.

Olivia likes to travel, and her acting career has taken her to several US states, while she’s also been to Europe on several occasions – her dream travel destination is Paris in France.
Olivia has her own favorite actors and actresses, and as she is an ‘old soul in a young body’, she likes to watch Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Angelina Jolie – some of her favorite movies are “Scarface”, the trilogy “The Godfather”, and “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life”.
