Who actually is the child actor Jack Gore?
Jack Gore was born in New York City, USA on 19 May 2005 – his zodiac sign is Taurus and he holds American nationality. He is an actor, perhaps best known for his portrayal of the lead character Timmy Cleary in the comedy series “The Kids are Alright”, created by Tim Doyle and which also starred Mary McCormack and Sam Straley. The series is about two people who are raising their eight children in the ‘70s, and was nominated for eight awards.
Early life and education
Jack was raised alongside his sister Phoebe in Inwood, Manhattan, New York City by their father who is a businessman, and their mother who is a lawyer.
Jack became interested in acting at a very early age, after his mother enrolled him into an arts school where he practiced acting, singing and dancing. He attended a local elementary school, and appeared in several plays performed there, while Jack has just recently enrolled at a high school in 2019. Roles in movies
Jack made his debut film appearance in 2013, when he portrayed Rory Parker in the horror thriller “We Are What We Are”, written and directed by Jim Mickle and which starred Bill Sage, Ambyr Childers and Julia Garner. It follows a family who are into ancient customs, and who find out they are not alone in their house – it won five awards and was nominated for 11 others.
In 2014, Jack portrayed Mack Rizzon in the James Burrows’ comedy movie “More Time with Family”, while the following year saw him play Bishop Martin, one of the lead characters in the comedy movie “Problem Child”, directed by Andrew Fleming and written by Scot Armstrong, and which also starred Matthew Lillard and Erinn Hayes.
The movie is closely based on the eponymous film released in 1990, but failed to attract much attention. The year 2017 saw Jack appear as Richie in the period drama movie “Wonder Wheel”, which starred Jim Belushi, Kate Winslet and Juno Temple, and which follows the tale of a lifeguard – it won four awards and was nominated for four others.
Jack made his voicing debut in the same year, when he lent his voice to Young Valiente in the computer-animated comedy adventure film “Ferdinand”, which is closely based on the book “The Story of Ferdinand” by Robert L. Baird published in 1936.
In 2018, Jack portrayed both Angel and Bill Brumble in the comedy film “Ideal Home”, directed and written by Andrew Fleming and which starred Steve Coogan, Paul Rudd and Jesse Luken. It’s about two gay men who are raising a boy, and it won two awards and was nominated for two others.
Two of Jack’s most recent roles in movies have been in the science fiction adventure film “Rim of the World” in 2019, in which he portrayed Alex, and the live-action computer-animated adventure comedy movie “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run”, for which he voiced Young Patrick Star in 2020. He has recently been cast to play Johnny Callahan in the upcoming film “Who Framed Tommy Callahan”.

Roles in TV series
Jack made his debut TV series appearance in 2013, when he portrayed Graham Henry in 22 episodes of the comedy series “The Michael J. Fox Show”, which follows the life of Michael J. Fox, and which won Jack a nomination for a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Comedy or Musical.
In 2015, Jack appeared in four episodes of the series “Billy & Billie”, before he was cast to guest star in the episode “Townhouse Incident” of the crime series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, as well as in the tenth episode of the first season of the web series “Horace and Pete”, directed and written by Louis C.K., and which is about mental issues and abuse.
Jack gained recognition in 2016 when he was cast to play Gordie Axelrod in the drama series “Billions”, which starred Paul Giamatti, Damian Lewis and Magie Siff, and which won one award and was nominated for 14 others.
Some of Jack’s latest roles in TV series have been in the 2018 episode of “The Father Thing” of the science fiction anthology series “Philip K. It is believed that Jack hasn’t been in any long-term relationships as he is still very young and that he has been dating someone for three months now. As he hasn’t commented on this, he currently appears to be single.
