The Untold Truth of Michael Douglas’ first Wife – Diandra Luker

• Diandra Luker is an American film producer and model
• She married Michael Douglas at the age of 19 and divorced in 2000
• She was involved in charity work with the Red Cross and worked for the Metropolitan Museum of Art
• She documented an artist's tale and produced and released "Broken Lines" in 2008
• She has a net worth of $50 million, living off the alimony from her divorce

Officially an American Film producer and model, Diandra Luker has reached newfound stages of infamy. Diandra divorced Michael Douglas in 2000, that man she married at the tender age of 19. Douglas is the recipient of no less than two Academy Awards, a Primetime Emmy, and an astonishing five Golden Globe awards. He has 64 credits for films from the classic “Basic Instinct” (1992) to the recent pop-culture favorites “Avengers: Endgame” (2019) and “Ant Man” (2015). The divorce itself was considered scandalous, but Diandra’s actions following the divorce raised even more eyebrows, especially after Douglas was diagnosed with stage IV throat cancer. Diandra’s ability as a parent and her ethics have come under fire in the recent news. Whether or not this is justified is left up to the discretion of the reader.

While celebrities crave the limelight, this is certainly not the coveted attention that Diandra has been seeking.

Early Life and Family

Luker has declined to provide her exact birth date, letting the public know more than the fact that she was born in 1956, in Mallorca, Spain, one of the larger islands of the Balearic group. Luker’s parents’ names are unknown, as are the identities of her siblings – if any. Diandra’s father was a Swiss-American diplomat and ambassador, whose work took him all over the world. While his work meant that he was well paid, and able to provide amply for his family, the nomadic lifestyle did not provide very much stability. By the time Diandra was old enough to attend middle-school, he realized that excessive travel could ultimately be detrimental to her education, so Diandra was shipped off to attend boarding schools to complete her education in some semblance of solidity.

Diandra Luker was a generous and charitable youth who was heavily involved in organizations such as the Red Cross, which unbeknownst to her would later serve her career well.

Education

As stated previously, Diandra Luker attended boarding school to accommodate a steady education considering her family’s nomadic lifestyle. The first boarding school she attended was located in Switzerland. However, despite the intentions of this being a school at which she would consistently study until her graduation, Diandra moved to the US to complete her schooling, attending Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service in Georgetown from where she matriculated at the age of nineteen in 1975.

Diandra remains fluent in Spanish to this day, and requires no help with translation when she visits Spanish speaking countries.

Career

Modeling and Directing

Diandra Luker did not strike out on a career immediately after her graduation. She married young and was well supported by Michael Douglas, who was famous even back then. Although she could now live a life of luxury, Luker was not content to sit back and idle her time away. Diandra remained highly active in her charity work with The Red Cross, a stance that saw her hired by the board of directors of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her job was not the most conventional venture of the time, as she was entrusted with handling the museum’s Office of Film and Television.

She performed this role exceptionally well, and it was during her work at the museum when she was approached to model. Ford Models presented Diandra with a contract which gave her the opportunity to work among the stars herself, instead of remaining in her husband’s shadow. During her modeling career, she worked alongside some of the most well-known names in fashion of the time. She modeled for Donna Karen, the American fashion designer behind the Donna Karen New York and DKNY labels, as well as for Carolina Herrera, the Venezuelan fashion designer who has dressed multiple first ladies including Michelle Obama and Laura Bush.

Her work in the modeling industry was temporary however, as she soon found her interest lay elsewhere, and branched out into the realm of directing that she had glimpsed during her time at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

In 1991 she documented the tale of an artist, writer, and sculptor with an eye for the Old West in an episode of “American Masters”. She went on to direct “Off the Menu: The Last Day of Chasen’s” in 1997 as Diandra Douglas. Her perhaps most famous piece was the film “Broken Lines” which she produced and released in 2008.

Personal Life

Michael Douglas and Diandra Luker

Diandra’s early life followed the meandering pattern of a fairy tale, meeting her (apparent) true love at nineteen and marrying soon after. Michael Douglas and Diandra Luker met at the swearing-in ceremony of President Jimmy Carter in the US, and what followed was a whirlwind romance, as after merely two weeks of dating, Douglas proposed. The couple married in March 1977 and welcomed their son Cameron Douglas a year later.

Their fairy tale story didn’t last, however, and the couple separated in 1995. While they did not explicitly state what had torn the marriage apart, the media claims that it was the typical Hollywood career folly. What followed was an exceptionally messy divorce, which was only finalized in 2000. Douglas paid a settlement of $45 million in addition to signing over properties including their Santa Barbara Estate in California. At that stage, it was rumored that Douglas would have done anything to escape the marriage, so that he could marry 25-year younger actress Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Luker was slammed by the media for her purported greed in the divorce. Her parenting skills were also called into question when their son Cameron Douglas served seven years in prison for heroin and other drug-related crimes.

She stoked the fires even higher when she entered another lawsuit with Douglas, demanding a cut of his earnings for “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps”. This followed on the tail of Douglas’s cancer diagnosis. Initially Luker considered withdrawing the claims, but Douglas’s lawyers insisted that they push forward. Luker experienced several financial pitfalls – not least her former business manager, Kenneth Starr, pleading guilty to fraud, falling prey to Bernie Madoff’s pyramid scheme, and the sale of the Santa Barbara estate falling through. After this slew of financial mishaps, withdrawing her claims became an impossible option in her eyes.

Other Relationships and Children

Diandra Luker dated business tycoon, Zach Hampton Bacon III. After accepting his proposal, Luker refused to marry unless he paid the alimony from Douglas that she would lose. The two remained engaged and had two sons – Hudson and Hawk through a surrogate in 2004, but their relationship fell to pieces soon afterward. Luker adopted her daughter Imira Sestaca from Kazakhstan, who she would retain full custody over, unlike the twins who are under joint custody. Luker had a brief relationship with Michael Klein in 2005 which lasted no more than a couple of months.

Today, Diandra is incredibly supportive of all her children, including Cameron who has written a book on his experiences in prison.

Both she and Douglas intend to campaign with the content of their son’s book to achieve greater mental support of those in the prison system. She enjoys spending her summers with her children in a co-owned house on the island of her youth, where they are free to experience nature and nurture their bilingual heritage. She is not at all conservative in expressing her anti-Trump sentiments, affixing a photograph of his face to a scarecrow in the gardens of her island home.

Appearances

Although not the young and carefree model she was, Diandra Luker has made certain to keep up her appearances and take good care of her body. While she is not embarrassed to show a little grey, Luker tends to die her hair a darker shade of brown, quite unlike the pale brown of her youth.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bf_1NDEhlut/

She has brown eyes and a slender figure. She is reported to be 5ft 6ins (1071m) tall and weighs 127lbs (58kgs). Her Swiss-American heritage from her father, and Italian from her mother, are apparent in her features and have seen her age well over time.

Net Worth and Salary

Diandra has an impressive net worth of $50 million – the $45 million divorce settlement has an impact. This pales in comparison to that of Michael Douglas’s current wife’s, Catherine Zeta-Jones, $105 million. However, Luker has more than enough to live in luxury and comfort with minimal financial stress, and can provide the best for her children. Luker has no reported source of income, so it is logical to assume that she is living off the alimony of her divorce.

What is John Gotti’s wife doing today Victoria DiGiorgio’s Bio

Published

on

Who is Victoria Digiorgio?

Victoria Digiorgio was born on 5 December 1942, in Brooklyn, New York City, USA, and is best known for being the wife of the late John Gotti, who during the peak of his career, was one the leaders of the most powerful crime syndicate in America, the Cosa Nostra otherwise known as the American mafia.

The Net Worth of Victoria Digiorgio?

As of early-2020, Victoria Digiorgio’s net worth is estimated to be over $2 million, mostly from the inheritance left behind by her husband at his death. She also owned an ancestral property belonging to her mother. There was a time that she lived in luxury, as Gotti had an income of up to $20 million a year from his large criminal enterprise.

Early Life and Marriage

Victoria is of Italian descent from her mother, while her father is from Russia. During the 1940s, her parents decided to move to the US in search of a better life, and went work in factories. She never knew her father very well as her parents separated. Eventually, she started gaining a bit of wealth, enjoying the fruits given to her by the inheritance left behind by her mother back in Italy, which included an ancestral home reputedly valued in millions.

While most of her life was out of the spotlight, she met gangster John Gotti in a bar in 1958 and began a relationship there. They married four years later, and for some time her husband attempted a normal life, working as a truck driver and a presser in a coat factory.

However, it wasn’t long until he turned back to a life of crime, and his family eventually became involved.

The Death of Frank Gotti

In 1980, Digiorgio’s youngest child, Frank Gotti was killed by neighbor John Favara run over while on his minibike. After investigations, it was ruled that the incident was an accident though John Gotti was not going to let it slide. Victoria became depressed over the incident and was even suicidal at one point, staying in bed and barely making an effort to move. When Favara tried to apologize, she attacked him with a baseball bat, and afterwards he began receiving death threats. To try and cheer up the family, John took them on a trip outside the city and when they returned, Favara had disappeared.

In 1980, it was ruled by police that he was likely abducted and murdered by Gotti’s men while the family were on vacation. Hitman Richard Kuklinski later came forward stating that he was responsible for Favara’s death, as he carried out many murders for Gotti. Victoria and her children didn’t know anything about the abduction, but they assumed that John Gotti had something to do with it. She lived quietly over the next few years, though their marriage was being torn about by her husband’s life of crime. Even her son John, Jr. became involved with the mafia, which brought her a lot of grief.

Husband – John Gotti

John became a criminal at a young age in an effort to escape the poverty his family was living in, eventually joining the Gambino crime family. He worked under Anielloe Dellacroce and operated in Queens, earning a decent living due to his actions. Eventually, he delved into selling drugs with his brother, which attracted the FBI. In fear that Paul Castellano might discover their operation and send people to kill them, he made the first move, setting up an assassination of Castellano, which left him as the leader of the crime family.

During his reign, the American mafia rose to power, his crime family operating in various areas such as drug trafficking, illegal gambling, prostitution, extortion, racketeering, pornography, and many others. The police and FBI tried consistently to pin him to various crimes, but most of his cases would end up in acquittal. With the public’s attention on him, he started wearing more flamboyant clothes and became more outspoken to the media, earning him the nickname “The Dapper Don”. It was later revealed that he survived various cases due to witness intimidation, jury tampering, and other criminal actions.

Arrest, Imprisonment, and Death

John Gotti was eventually arrested in 1991 thanks to the help of his underboss Sammy the Bull who was secretly working with the FBI to take him down in exchange for a lighter punishment. Sammy provided evidence of a recorded wiretap showing him in a conversation with the mafia boss who admitted to many murders.

The following year, he was convicted of numerous crimes including murder, tax evasion, racketeering, extortion, loansharking, and many other charges. This led him to a lifetime sentence in prison, which marked the downfall of the mafia. He was imprisoned at the US Penitentiary located in Marion, Illinois, with the majority of his sentence in solitary confinement.

He was later transferred to a Supermax prison in Colorado, following his attempt to assassinate an inmate named Walter Johnson, although the story is somewhat blurred, with denials among Gotti’s family and associates. Other stories state that he befriended other gangs including African-American and Hispanic groups. In 1998, doctors diagnosed him with throat cancer and he underwent surgery for the tumor to be removed. While the surgery was successful, the tumor returned after two years, and he passed away from the disease in 2002. He was buried alongside his son who was killed in the motorbike accident many years back.

Personal Life

Victoria DiGiorgio stayed married to Gotti from 1962 up to his death. They had five children together, with one of his children John Jr. becoming the head of their crime family in the 1990s, until he was imprisoned for racketeering. Her other children tried to live a life disassociated from their family’s criminal past. One of their children, Victoria who is named after her mother was even a star of a reality program for one period, which showcased that the family was still living in luxury despite most of John Gotti’s money supposedly being confiscated following his imprisonment.

The Untold Truth Of Randy Moss’ Ex-‘Wife’ – Libby Offutt

Published

on

Who is Libby Offutt, Randy Moss’ ex-girlfriend?

Elizabeth Ann ‘Libby’ Offutt was born in St. Albans, West Virginia USA, on 1 November 1975 – her zodiac sign is Scorpio and she holds American nationality. She is a housewife, but perhaps best known for being the former girlfriend of Randy Moss, a famous American Football player – many people believe her to be Randy’s ex-wife, as they have five children together, however, the two never actually married.

Early life and education

Libby was raised in St. Albans alongside her sisters Angela and Jennifer by their father Frank Montgomery Offutt, who was a businessman and who served as the Chairman of the Board of Christian Education, and their mother Margarette who was a housewife.

Frank also worked for a variety of companies including Monsanto, Goodrich-Gulf Rubber Plant and MTI Engineering among others, and was a basketball coach; he died on 28 November 2012 after undergoing surgery to fix his ‘pure autonomic failure’ degenerative disorder.

Libby attended Saint Albans High School located in West Virginia, where she was among the most popular girls due to her attractive looks, then after her family moved, she attended DuPont High School at which she became physically active as she started playing several sports, while she also became interested in swimming.

She mostly practiced because she wanted to stay fit, planning on becoming a model, however, things changed for her after she started dating Randy Moss.

Upon matriculation in 1993, she decided not to pursue a college degree but to find an ‘ordinary job’ to financially support herself, and later her children.

Love life and relationship with Randy Moss

Libby met Randy while she was attending DuPont High School, and they dated for only several months before Libby became pregnant. Even though she was advised by her friends and family to have an abortion so that she could continue her studies and work on her career, Libby chose to give birth, and she and Randy welcomed their daughter Sydney Nikale Moss on 6 March 1994.

Not many people supported their relationship, because Randy’s black and Libby’s white, and things became even worse after the birth of their daughter. In 1995 when somebody offended Randy, he got into a fight and was sent to prison for three days, which ruined his plans for the future, as he lost his Notre Dame football scholarship.

In 1996, both Randy and Libby were taken to a police station after their neighbors reported domestic violence but neither pressed charges, and they continued to live together with Libby giving birth to their four more kids Senali, Montigo, Thaddeus and Sylee.

Shortly after the birth of their fifth child, Libby and Randy split due to what appears to be his infidelity, and he went on to marry Lydia.

Many years later in 2016, Randy talked about how Libby spent a fortune on drugs, and rejected his offer to pay for her rehabilitation program – he also claimed that she no longer cared about their children, which is why he had to abandon football to raise them with Lydia. Libby claimed Randy wasn’t telling the truth, and that he and Lydia didn’t let her see her children.

Sydney has become a basketball player, while Thaddeus is a football player and is today playing for Fighting Tigers (Louisiana State University team).

Drug problems, hobbies and interests

Libby admitted that she had drug issues in the past, but has claimed that she has been clean since 2007, ans her mother Margaret has backed up her claims. According to rumors, she is back to being physically active, and although she isn’t as good as she was before, she occasionally plays soccer and tennis with her friends, and has several training sessions at the gym each week to stay in shape. Her pregnancies have made her somewhat overweight, and although she isn’t trying to get rid of the weight, her training has improved her stamina and made her feel better about herself.

Late at night she likes to watch movies, and some of her favorite actors and actresses are Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie, while a few of her favorite movies include “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, “Meet Joe Black” and “Titanic”.

Libby’s net worth

Libby’s net worth has been estimated at over $10,000 as of June 2020, while Randy’s net worth is estimated at over $25 million. Libby hair color is brown although she usually dyes it blonde/gray, and her eyes are blue. She is 44 years old.

Who is Randy Moss?

Randy Gene Moss was born in Charleston, West Virginia on 13 February 1977 – his zodiac sign is Aquarius and he holds American nationality.

He is a retired professional American Footballer, who played for 14 years in the National Football League (NFL), while he is today working as a sports analyst.

Randy was raised in Rand, West Virginia alongside his brother and sister Eric and Lutisia, and attended DuPont High School at which he met Libby. He was one of the most active students there, as he played football, baseball and basketball, while he also ran track and was on the debating team. Although he chose football for his career, he also excelled at basketball as he became West Virginia Player of the Year twice, as well as at track and field and was the West Virginia State Champion for both 100 and 200 meters runs. He was expelled from DuPont High School before matriculation, and had to finish his education at Cabell Alternative School.

He enrolled at the Florida State University in Tallahassee, but was expelled after a test showed that he smoked marijuana. He started studying at Marshall University and began playing for Marshall Thundering Herd. Before graduation, he joined the NFL league and started playing for the Minnesota Vikings, staying with them for seven years before signing a contract with the Oakland Raiders on 2 March 2005. He was not satisfied with the team, and thus moved to the New England Patriots in 2007 where he stayed until 2010 before returning to Minnesota for a week, as he was transferred to the Tennessee Titans. On 1 August 2011, it was announced that Randy would be retiring, but he came back on 12 March 2012 to play for the San Francisco 49ers before finally retiring the following year.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CCRZ29KlkPV/

In July 2016, he started working at ESPN Network as a football analyst, appearing in their shows “Monday Night Countdown” and “Sunday NFL Countdown”.

Randy is a philanthropist who has been helping underprivileged children ever since his first child was born. He has been donating clothes and food to people in need since the launch of his football career, and on 29 June 2005, he founded the Randy Moss Celebrity Charity Invitational Bass Tournament, which was held once a year and the money gathered donated to Smile Network. He also founded the Links for Learning Foundation in 2008, which aims to help children living in poor conditions in West Virginia.
