Blanca Martinez Suárez was born on 21 October 1988, in Madrid, Spain, of Spanish nationality and her zodiac sign is Libra.

Not much is known about her early life and parents, except that she is the middle of seven children! After matriculating from a local high school, she enrolled at King Juan Carlos University, located in the southern area of Madrid. She also attended the Artes Escenicas Troton’s School of Dramatic Arts.
Career
Suárez made her acting debut in 2007, when she was cast as Julia Medina in the Antena 3 channel TV series “The Boarding School”, also known as “El Internado” in Spanish.
She remained on the show until it ended three seasons later, in 2010, and for this performance, she won the Fotogramas de Plata Award for Best Actress, and earned a Golden Nymph in the Best Actress Category in Drama nomination at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival in 2010.
In 2009 she was cast in two Spanish movies, the drama film “Cowards” and the horror film “Shiver”. She portrayed minor roles in both of these movies, but her performances were noticed by the audience and several casting agents.
The same year she had her first voice acting job, when she voiced Angel in the Fernando Gonzales Molina film “Brain Drain”. In the next two years, before the filming for “The Boarding School” finished, she was also in “The Consul of Sodom”, “Neon Flesh” – in which she appeared next to Mario Casas – and “The Hemisphere”.
In two 2011 she acted in “The Skin I Live In”, portraying Norma Ledgard. Her castmates were Elena Anaya and Antonio Banderas, and for this film she was nominated for a Goya Award in the Best New Actress category.
More importantly, she became a co-star of one more Antena 3 series, “The Boat”, and her portrayal of Ainhoa Montero brought her worldwide fame, as well as a TP de Oro Award for Best Actress nomination, and won the Ondas Award in Best Actress category, as well as Fotogramas de Plata Award in the Best Television Actress category. She remained in the show until 2013, and concurrently appeared in the drama film “Winning Streak”, and co-starred in the post-war film “Orange Honey”, directed by Imanol Uribe.
Her first role after “The Boat” ended was as Ruth in the comedy film “I’m So Excited” that premiered in 2013.

In 2014, she made a minor appearance in the TV series “Tell Me a Story”, and had the lead role in the TV mini-series “Beauty and the Beast”. The next year, Suárez co-starred in the comedy “Off Course”, and appeared in three episodes of the TV series “The Ours”, in which she portrayed Isabel Santana. She once again joined her “Neon Flesh” colleague Mario Casas in the comedy film “My Big Night”, and landed a recurring role in the TV history series “Charles, King Emperor”.
In 2016, Suárez portrayed Italian lady Daniella in the romantic film “Bakery in Brooklyn”, her first American movie, and that same year starred in TV mini-series about forbidden love, “Lo Que Escondian Sus Ojos”.
Suárez, once again joined by Mario Casas, starring in the horror-comedy film “The Bar” in 2017; for her portrayal of Elena she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the third award ceremony of Premios Feroz. She also landed the lead role in the TV drama series “Cable Girls”, and as of May 2020, she still portrays Lidia Aguilar on this show. In 2018, she appeared in the short film “Asesinato en el Hormiguero Express”, and in Jose Luis Cuerda’s last film, “Time After”. A year later, she starred in the comedy film “Despite Everything”, alongside Macarena Garcia and Amaia Salamanca.
Other Professional Endeavors
Suárez has appeared in various music videos, most notably in Ladrones’ “Estoy Prohibido” in 2010, and with her boyfriend at the time Dani Martin’s “Emocional” in 2014.
Next to being an actress, Suárez is also a journalist, working for Spanish Vogue since February 2014.
Suárez has also modeled for several famous magazines, as well as for the prestigious Italian lingerie brand, Intimissimi.
Personal Life
Suárez had several public relationships, the first one being with fellow actor Javier Pereira.
The relationship started in 2008 and ended in 2010. In 2011, she started the relationship with Miguel Angel Silvestre, who was her co-star on “Winning Streak”, but the couple broke up in 2014. That same year, she announced the relationship with Spanish pop musician, Dani Martin, but they ended the relationship later in 2014. She was dating actor Joel Bosqued from 2015 to 2017. At the beginning of 2018, she began the relationship with her colleague on various films, Mario Casas, but this relationship also didn’t last for too long, and they broke up in late 2019.
The rumor started in late 2019 that she married an undisclosed spouse, but she never commented on the gossips.
In 2011 and 2014 she was the Most Searched Performer on the Interned according to the Fotogramas magazine. Spanish GQ magazine voted her the Woman of the Year in 2014.
Suárez is active on various social media, such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, on which she often posts pictures of her and her dachshund called Pistacho.
On 28th September 2019 there was a rumor of her supposed death, which concerned many.
However, that same day, she confirmed that she is alive and well and that the gossips aren’t true.
