After leaving Butler University, Kenan was hired to serve as an assistant wide receivers coach for the St. Louis Rams of the National Football League (NFL) in 2014, staying with them for the next two years. In 2016, the team moved to Los Angeles, California, and changed the name to the Los Angeles Rams. He coached them until February 2017.
