He is an actor who is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Thomas Kub in the comedy movie “Project X”, in which he starred alongside Oliver Cooper and Jonathan Daniel Brown. The film was written by Matt Drake and Michael Bacall, directed by Nima Nourizadeh, and follows three high school students who decide to throw a party to make a name for themselves, however, things soon get out of control after numerous people hear about the party – “Project X” was nominated for five awards.

Childhood and education

Thomas spent the first two years of his life in Portland, but his family then moved to Dallas in Texas, when his father found a job there as a construction project manager – Thomas’ mother is a nurse, and he doesn’t have any siblings.

He became interested in playing ice hockey at the age of five when he also started taking lessons, and as soon as he enrolled at a high school in Dallas, he started playing for the school’s team. The story follows Carly who is hosting her own web show “iCarly”, which features comedy sketches, talent contests and interviews among other things – the series was a huge success, as it won 13 awards and was nominated for 61 others including seven Primetime Emmys. The story follows a depressed teenager who gets an opportunity to start anew after checking into an adult psychiatric ward – the movie was nominated for two awards.

In 2012, Thomas played Roosevelt in the teen comedy movie “Fun Size”, written by Max Werner, however, he only gained recognition in the following year after portraying Ben Wosser in the critically acclaimed horror movie “Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters”, which was both written and directed by Tommy Wirkola, and starred Jeremy Renner, Gemma Arterton and Peter Stormare. It is about two bounty hunters, Hansel and Gretel, who after hunting witches around the world for years, are now facing a new evil creature – the film won three awards and was nominated for four others. In 2013 as well, Thomas played supporting characters Wesley ‘Link’ Lincoln in the romantic gothic fantasy movie “Beautiful Creatures” and Kenny Crauder in the comedy film “As Cool as I Am”.
