Although YoungBoy NBA is just 21 years old, he already has five children, with four different women – the newest addition to the family is Kacey Alexander Gaulden. Born on the 13th February 2019, he and YoungBoy met for the first time in January 2020. His mother is now Young Boy’s ex-girlfriend, Jania Meshell Bania. Kacey’s parents dated throughout 2018, but broke up the same year, following which Jania discovered that she was pregnant.

She wasn’t left completely on her own, as she had the support of her mother during pregnancy and after birth. Young Boy acknowledged Kacey as his own child, and gave him his own last name. Kacey is now just a year and a half old, but has already become something of a star, thanks to the popularity of his father, as he has been featured on his Instagram profile a few times, and his mother has also talked about him in her YouTube videos.

Born Jania Meshell Bania on the 11th January 2000 in the USA; she became popular in 2018 when her relationship with YoungBoy NBA became public, and she has since become a social media star, with over two million followers on Instagram. She has been posting pictures of herself with her child, and has done a few modeling gigs which have also contributed to her popularity and her net worth.

Furthermore, Jania has launched her own fashion company, Jania Meshell Lashes, selling eye make-up, and is looking to further extend her offerings.

Born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden on the 20th October 1999, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana USA, as his father was sentenced to 55 years in prison, he was raised by his maternal grandmother – there are no details about his mother, other than that her name is Sherhonda.

YoungBoy broke his neck when very young, and needed to wear a head brace until his spine healed, and has a scar from the brace on his forehead. He left school in ninth grade to pursue a career in music, but instead was soon arrested for robbery. He served his sentence at a detention center in Tallulah, Louisiana, and during his incarceration started writing lyrics for his first mixtape.

Once out of detention, he returned home, but soon after his grandmother died of heart failure, and he was forced to move in with his friend and fellow rapper NBA 3Three, who also goes by the name of OG 3Three. In order to pay for the studio, they started stealing and committing various other criminal acts.

Career Beginnings

His first mixtape in 2015 was made with a microphone he bought at Walmart, and entitled “Life Before Fame” was followed by several other mixtapes, including “Mind of a Menace”, and “Mind of a Menace 2”. His first major success was the mixtape “38 Baby”, on which he collaborated with Boosie Badazz, Kevin Gates and others. His career didn’t suffer even when he was arrested in Austin, Texas, in 2016, and eventually jailed in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, for attempted first-degree murder. While in jail he released two mixtapes “Before I Go: Reloaded” and “Mind of a Menace 3: Reloaded”.

He actually spent just eight months in jail before he was released, on a suspended 10-year sentence and three months’ probation as he made a plea deal and posted bail. The single “Untouchable” came out just a week later, and he continued to improve his career. In August 2017, his mixtape “A.I. YoungBoy” was released, and reached No. 24 on the Billboard 200 chart.

As his career progressed, YoungBoy NBA signed a deal with Atlantic Records, and his debut studio album was released on the 27th April 2018. The album landed on the No. 7 on the US Billboard 200 chart and No. 5 on the US R&B/Hip-Hop chart, while it also achieved platinum status.

This propelled him to stardom, and he continued working on new music, releasing three mixtapes in 2018, and before the announcement of the second studio album, mixtapes “Still Flexin, Still Steppin” and “38 Baby 2” came out, with the later topping the US Billboard 200 chart. His second studio album “Top” is scheduled for release on the 11th September 2020.

Personal Life and Net Worth

YoungBoy has been arrested several times and spent months in jail; his probation for three years was terminated in December 2019. YoungBoy NBA now lives in Los Angeles, and recent charges have him on a plea deal for the case against Kacey’s mother Jania, yet to be resolved.

YoungBoy has six children with four different women, named Kayden, Kamron, Taylin, Kamiri, Kacey, and a daughter Armani. Kamron is not his biological son, but he has raised him as his own.

YoungBoy NBA has become a popular rapper, and his wealth has increased thanks to his success.

According to sources, it has been estimated that his net worth is as high as $6 million, as of mid- 2020, which would seem likely to rise, if only he can stay out of trouble!
