Career Beginnings and Instant Success
Chez was interested in performing arts from an early age, and was a child anchor for Channel 8 in Las Vegas. His mother was his agent at the time, and she drove him to Los Angeles for the audition for the television movie “The Thirteenth Year”.
Once he learned the plot of the film and the fact that he would turn into a merman on screen, he knew that his friends would make fun of him. At first take, he didn’t think that his audition went well, but he read his lines again and the casting directors sent him to a house in Hollywood Hills, where he showed his swimming skills. Because of his previous experience in water and acting skills as well, Chez was chosen for the role of Cody – the film received mixed to positive reviews, and though Chez’s performance wasn’t quite top shelf, he still won the hearts of many.
After this, he continued his career with the role of Tan Jock in the film “Time Share”, and also featured in the Olson twins’ project, “You’re Invited to Mary-Kate & Ashley’s School Dance Party”, both in 2000. The following year, Chez featured in the TV series “Undressed”, and also featured in the TV animated series “The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy”.

With the start of the 2000s, Chez wasn’t as much focused on show business, but pursued other interests.
Since 2001 he’s had only two more appearances, first as Jason Barrett in the television movie “Recipe for Disaster” in 2003, starring John Larroquette, Lesley Ann Warren and Melissa Peterman, and in 2016 he appeared in the indie short film “The Long and the Short”, with Mark Asphenleiter and Les Best.
He has several other interests, including painting and home storage designs, from the kitchen to the bathroom and the living room. He has shared a few of his own creations as a painter, particularly doing portraits of celebrities in his own style, such as Prince and Marilyn Monroe, which he did for a commission.
