Who is Kimberley Conrad? Wiki Bio

Kimberley Conrad was born in Moulton, Alabama USA, on 6 August 1962, so her zodiac sign is Leo and she holds American nationality. She is a model and an actress, best known for her association with “Playboy” magazine and former marriage to Hugh Hefner.

Early life and education

Kimberley moved to Reno, Nevada with her family when she was four, and they moved a second time, to British Columbia, Canada, when she was twelve. Her mother was a hairdresser and got her interested in modeling and beauty pageants from an early age.

Kimberley attended a local high school, where she was physically active, and upon matriculation, pursued a career in modeling rather than enrolling at college.

Career as a model and actress

She began modeling at the age of seventeen, working for John Casablancas Elite Model Management. Her modeling career took off when she was invited to pose for “Playboy” by local photographer Ken Honey, and was named Playboy‘s Playmate of the Month in January 1988 and Playboy‘s Playmate of the Year in 1989. The same year she made her debut TV series appearance in an episode of “Highway to Heaven”, and played a side role as a waitress in the popular drama series “Falcon Crest”.

Kimberley has been featured in numerous “Playboy” videos, and even had a “Playboy” newsstand special edition dedicated to her. Love life and marriage with Hugh Hefner

Kimberley garnered a lot of media attention in 1989 when she married the owner and publisher of “Playboy”, Hugh Hefner. She was his second wife, and they have two sons together, Marston Glenn Hefner and Cooper Bradford Hefner.

During the first nine years of their marriage, Kimberley transformed the Playboy mansion into a more conservative house, allegedly not allowing Hugh to host parties in their house.

However, the two separated in 1998 but didn’t formally divorce. Hugh Hefner was quoted on the situation ‘I would’ve been happy to divorce her when we separated, but she wanted to remain married for our boys.’ Kimberley moved into a house next door to the Playboy Mansion, but  after living in separate houses for 11 years, she filed for divorce stating ‘irreconcilable differences’ in September 2009 after their youngest child turned 18. The divorce was finalized in March 2010.

Hugh Hefner was paying Kimberley $250,000 a year after the divorce, however, reports say that she later filed a lawsuit against him in connection with $5 million that came from the sale of a home they owned together. Hefner reportedly stated that Kimberley cheated on him during their years together, although he (allegedly) remained faithful.

Since the divorce, Kimberley has kept out of the public eye and not much is known about her love life. She seems to be living a peaceful life with her children, and there are no rumors related to her personal matters.
