Luke Nicholas Eisner was born on the 1st August 1996, in Greendale, California USA, the son of Bill Eisner and his wife Denise. He comes from a high-class family of entrepreneurs and philanthropists, but his mother is a housewife, and always looked after him during his early years and was very strict.
This made him very disciplined, and is used to working hard for something he desires. Luke’s grandfather was William Eisner, a designer and advertising entrepreneur originally from Milwaukee. Luke’s father is an advertising promoter and has worked with Coca Cola for some time in the past, and is the owner of Nonbox, previously William Eisner & Associates.
As a part of Nonbox, Bill led campaigns for several notable politicians, including the former Wisconsin Governor, Scott Walker. Unfortunately, Bill passed away in 2019 following a short battle with cancer.
Luke matriculated from Greendale High School, and then enrolled at the USC’s Thornton School of Music, from which he graduated in 2018.
Career Beginnings
From an early age Luke was interested in the arts, but music prevailed in his early years; he joined his cousins David and Paul Hackbarth, who are the owners of Sound By Design, which is the largest wedding DJ company in Wisconsin. He started by helping his cousins, but just a year later started his own DJ business, Luke Eisner DJ and Lighting LLC.
He was soon able to expand his business, and from a simple wedding DJ, he started performing at various music clubs all over Milwaukee, such as the Milwaukee Art Museum, Discovery World, The Botanical Gardens, and the Grain Exchange, among others. His early efforts also included charity concerts for various causes, including a fundraiser for the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, and the Crohn’s Disease Foundation, among others.
This didn’t go unnoticed, as he was awarded Wisconsin Young Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, Junior Achievement of Wisconsin in 2013.
Rise to Prominence
However, as his aspirations grew higher Luke moved to Los Angeles, and enrolled at a music school where he met his future colleague Gus Ross. The two started the two-man band VOILA, and in 2018 released their debut single “Don’t”. Since then, the two have released new material and served as opening acts for such musicians as Kesha, X Ambassadors, and The Fray, among others. With his music career on the rise, Luke was able to launch other projects, and has tried himself as a model and actor.
Modeling Career
He signed with IMG Models in 2018, and has worked with several high profile brands, including H&M, Calvin Klein, and has appeared in numerous magazines, including Cool America, Da Man Magazine, Haute Living and others, all of which increased both his popularity and wealth.
Acting Career
Luke is currently building his acting career, and made his debut in 2019 as Evan Dando in the TV comedy series “The Goldbergs”, followed in the same year by playing Taylor in six episodes of the TV fantasy-comedy series “Timeline”, then making his film debut as Stig Mohlin in the romantic comedy film “Tall Girl”, starring alongside Ava Michelle, Sabrina Carpenter and Griffin Gluck.
He is now working on several projects, including the films “Tiger Within”, which is currently in post-production, and “Growing up Gorman”, which is now in pre-production – both films are yet to receive their premiere date.
