Ryder Fieri was born on the 31st December 2005, in Los Angeles, California USA; the son of Lori qne Guy Fieri, Ryder is the younger son of two, and his brother’s name is Hunter, born in 1996. Ryder is currently 14 years old and he still goes to school.
According to sources, he is enrolled at Sequoia Elementary School. However, his age is not of much importance; his father, a star chef, has already thrown him into show business. He was just six years old when he made his first appearance in the TV show, hosted by his father. It was “Guy’s Big Bite” in 2011, and until 2016 he appeared in several more episodes of the same show. Ryder continued making appearances in his father’s shows, including “Guy’s Family Cruise” (2013), “Guy’s Grocery Games” (2014-2020), and furthermore has featured in the show “Guy’s Family Road Trip”, and series “Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives” (2019-2020).
Ryder Fieri’s Father, Guy Fieri
Born Guy Ramsay Fieri on the 22nd January 1968, in Columbus, Ohio USA, of Italian ancestry from his father’s side, he is the son of Lewis James Ferry and his wife, Penelope Anne. He spent his childhood in Ferndale, California where he attended high school and became interested in making food. He went to France as an exchange student, where he further developed his interest in food and cooking.
Upon returning to the US, Guy enrolled at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, from which he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Management in 1990 – he had previously begun working at the Red Lion Inn restaurant in Eureka, California. Once he obtained his degree, Guy went on to work for Stouffer’s as manager of the restaurant Parker’s Lighthouse, in Long Beach California, where he spent three years before he became Louise’s Trattoria district manager, recruiting, training and managing six locations.
Restaurant Owner
Guy built his fame as a restaurant owner before his television career kicked off. His first restaurant, Johnny Garlic’s, opened in Santa Rosa, California in 1996, with the help of his business partner Steve Gruber, and his second restaurant opened in Windsor three years later. Another restaurant was opened in Petaluma, but closed soon after the opening. Johnny Garlic’s fourth location was opened in Roseville in 2008. In addition, Fieri launched several other restaurant chains, including Tex Wasabi, in 2003 in Santa Rosa, while in 2012 he opened Guy’s American Kitchen ad Bar in 2012 in New York, which was reviewed by Pete Wells for the New York Times.
Furthermore, he struck a deal with Carnival Cruise to create Guy’s Burger Joint in 2011, and since then has opened 19 restaurants on Carnival’s cruise ships, and most recently, launched the fast-food chicken sandwich shop – Chicken Guy! – at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World, with the help of Robert Early, founder of Planet Hollywood.
Television Career
In 2006, Guy won the second season of the show “The Next Food Network Star”, and his rise in popularity started.
He was given his own show “Guy’s Big Bite”, and then in 2007 he premiered his second show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives”, in which he is shown traveling the country visiting local restaurants, which has been on air until the present day, and has made him extremely popular. Other popular shows include “Guy’s Ranch Kitchen” (2017-2020), and “Guy’s Grocery Games” (2013-2020), in addition to numerous other shows that have only increased his popularity and wealth. He also had a cook-off with Rachel Ray in the show “Rachel vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off”, which aired over two seasons in 2012 and 2013.

He also showcased his European travels with his older son, Hunter, in the show “Guy & Hunter’s European Vacation”, among other shows.
Guy Fieri Personal Life, Net Worth
Guy met his wife while he was working in a restaurant in Long Beach – he was the manager of the restaurant and she and her friend had a complaint. Once he saw her he was stricken, and soon after they started a romance. In 1995 they married and have welcomed two children since then, with the family residing in Santa Rosa, California.
Guy’s paternal grandfather, Giuseppe Fieri changed his last name to Ferry when he immigrated to the US, but Guy changed it back to Fieri soon after he married, in honor of his grandfather.
Guy is one of the richest celebrity chefs – his wealth has been estimated at $25 million as of mid- 2020, and among of his prized possessions is his collection of classic American cars, which includes a 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac Firebird 1968, Chevrolet Impala SS 1969, and a 1967 Chevrolet c10 pickup, among others.
