Cara Whitney was born in Wisconsin, USA in 1976 but has kept the exact date of her birth hidden from the media’s attention – her zodiac sign is believed to be Aries, and she holds American nationality. She is a radio DJ and a writer, but who might be known best as the other half of Daniel Lawrence Whitney, a comedian known better by his name Larry the Cable Guy.

Childhood and education
Cara is very secretive when it comes to her personal matters, and hasn’t shared any details concerning any siblings or parents with the public, however, it’s known that her father was a cattle farmer, and that she was raised on a family farm.
Cara attended a local high school at which she became interested in acting and creative writing, and while she hasn’t talked about her further education, it is widely believed that she attended college and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in 1998.
Cara’s career
After apparently graduatiogn, Cara moved to Los Angeles in California and first started working as a radio DJ – she held the job for several years and also made a couple of TV series appearances in the meantime. In 2008, she appeared in a single episode of the comedy game show “Celebrity Family Feud” while the year 2009 saw her appear in a single episode of the documentary series “Biography” – in 2018, she was a guest in an episode of the news talk show “Fox and Friends”.
Cara has been keeping her career private, and not a lot is really known about everything she has done in the past two decades – however, it’s known that she is a writer, as she released her book “Unbrindled Faith: 100 Devotions from the Horse Farm” in 2018.
Love life and marriage with Larry the Cable Guy
Cara and Larry met in Los Angeles in 2004, when she was working as a radio DJ, and after their first date, the two realized that they had a lot more in common than they first thought.
It took them only a year of dating before marrying on 3 July 2005, in a private and very low-key ceremony in a Nebraska field which was attended by their closest friends and family, and which cost them less than $2080.
On 2 August 2006, Cara gave birth to their son Wyatt Whitney while their daughter Reagan Whitney followed on 29 October 2007 – she was named after the former US President Ronald Reagan, as Larry is a big fan of his.
The family of four today lives at their house in Arizona valued at $3.6 million.
Hobbies and other interests
Cara is a big philanthropist, and became interested in donating money after her son was born with hip dysplasia and after he was cured at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children – Cara and Larry then donated $5 million to the hospital for the International Hip Dysplasia Institute to be founded there. She and Larry are also founders of the non-profit The Git-R-Done Foundation, which aims to help underprivileged children and war veterans.
Cara likes to travel in her spare time, and has been all around the US mostly to keep her husband company during his red carpet event,s but also for pleasure.
She’s also been to Europe, visiting various countries including France and England.
She is keen on watching movies – her favorite actor and actress are Will Smith and Natalie Portman, while a couple of her favorite movies are “I, Robot”, “Leon: The Professional” and “I Am Legend”.

Cara’s age is 44. She has long brown hair and grey eyes, her height is 5ft 4ins (1.62m) and she weighs around 115lbs (52kgs). As of December 2020, her net worth has been estimated at over $1 million, while Larry’s net worth is reputedly over $80 million.
Who is Larry the Cable Guy?
Daniel Lawrence ‘Larry’ Whitney was born in Pawnee City, Nebraska USA, on 17 February 1963 – his zodiac sign is Aquarius and he holds American nationality. He is an actor, comedian, film producer and singer, who might be known best for the seven comedy albums he’s released.
Larry was raised on a pig farm by his father Tom, who was also a guitarist and entertainer, and his mother Shirley who was a housewife. He studied at The King’s Academy and then matriculated from Berean Christian School in 1982. Larry pursued a Bachelor’s degree, and obtained it in 1986 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, after having moved there from the Baptist University of America.
Larry spent the following couple of years doing various jobs before launching his career on radio in the early ‘90s – his voice could’ve been heard in shows “The Ron and Ron Show”, “The Bob & Tom Show” and “The Todd and Tyler Show”.
He had already been doing stand-up comedy for several years when he created the Cable Guy character, who looks as a redneck and usually tells stories related to his family, while he is also popular for his catchphrase ‘Git-R-Done!’ Larry’s debut comedy album came out in 2001 entitled “Lord, I Apologize”, while his second followed in 2005 called “The Right to Bare Arms”.
He went on to star in his own show, “Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy” which aired on the History Channel, and attracted around 4.1 million viewers during its premiere.
Larry has been nominated for eight awards for his performances, winning a Visual Effects Society Award for Outstanding Performance by an Animated Character in an Animated Motion Picture, for the animated film “Cars” in 2007.
He is a huge fan of the football club Nebraska Cornhuskers, and has watched nearly all of their games. Larry is also a fan of rock music, with his favorite band being REO Speedwagon which he had a chance to appear alongside at a benefit concert held in Bloomington, Illinois in 2013.
