He has already shown interest in soccer, and occasionally plays it around the house as well as with his best friend outdoors. YoungBoy has stated he would like his son to become a rapper and a singer, but would also be very proud if he would do well at school and perhaps obtain a college degree – according to YoungBoy, he will let his son decide what he wants to do with his life.

His father’s relationships and affairs

Kamiri has three half-brothers Taylin, Kamron and Kayden, and a half-sister named Armani – in June 2018, YoungBoy asked for a paternity test for his supposed son Baby K (Kamron), and it was revealed that YoungBoy isn’t his biological father.

Taylin is YoungBoy’s third son and his mother is Niya, Kamron is the son of Star Dejanee and YoungBoy is raising him even though he is not his father. Kayden’s mother is Nisha, who is still just 20 years old, and Armani’s mother is Kayylmariee.

Who is YoungBoy NBA?

Kentrell ‘YoungBoy NBA’ DeSean Gaulden was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana USA, on 20 October 1999 – his zodiac sign is Libra and he holds American nationality. He is a rapper, songwriter and a singer, perhaps best known for the problems which he has had with the authorities, including spending a lot of time behind the bars.

YoungBoy NBA

YoungBoy was raised by his maternal grandmother because his father was incarcerated for 55 years, while his mother left him when he was still a kid. When he was still a baby, YoungBoy broke his neck and had to wear a head brace which left permanent marks on his forehead. He started spending time with criminals at a very early age, and left high school while attending his junior year – just several days later he was arrested for robbery, and spent time in a detention center located in Tallulah, Louisiana. While there YoungBoy began writing his songs, and after being released, he learned that his grandmother had died, and he thus started living with his fellow rapper and criminal NBA 3Three.

The two boys wrote the lyrics of their songs together, helping each other, but also involved in criminal activities which helped them pay to record their songs at a studio.

YoungBoy was 14 when he purchased a microphone from Walmart – his debut mixtape was released in 2015 entitled “Life Before Fame”, and in the following several months released three more mixtapes – “Before I Go”, “Mind of a Menace” and “Mind of a Menace 2”. He became popular in the US in October 2016 after the release of his next mixtape “38 Baby”, and seven days later released the new mixtape “Mind of a Menace 3”.

In November 2016, YoungBoy started dissing the rapper Scotty Cain who responded to his songs, and the two threatened to kill one another in their lyrics, however, they never met in public and their ‘rap battle’ only helped them both become popular.

After YoungBoy was arrested in December 2016 when connected to a drive-by shooting, and spent  more time in jail, in East Baton Rouge Parish in Louisiana – while still in jail, he released two new mixtapes “Mind of a Menace 3: Reloaded” and “Before I Go: Reloaded”. He admitted to having committed some offences in May 2017, and was released on probation after paying bail, and days later released his new digital single “Untouchable”.

On 3 August 2017, his new mixtape came out entitled “A.I. YoungBoy”, his first mixtape to chart, and peaking at #24 on the Billboard 200, while the single “Untouchable” reached #95 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

In early 2018, he announced the release of his first full-length album – “Until Death Call My Name” – eventually released on 27 April. His new digital single “Outside Today” came out on 6 January 2018, and it reached #31 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming his highest-charting single. YoungBoy was arrested again in February, but released on 15 March, while his new mixtape, “Master The Day Of Judgment” came out on 19 May.

He promised a series of EPs to be released in the summer of 2018 and “4Respect”, “4Freedom”, “4Loyalty” and “4WhatImportant”, came out on 24 August, 30 August, 6 September and 14 September, respectively. On 7 September, he released the new mixtape “Decided” which ranked #9 on the Billboard 200 – his final mixtape of 2018 came out on 20 December, entitled “Realer”.

In September 2019 YoungBoy was put under house arrest and should be free in January 2021, however, he has continued to make music from home, and on 25 September 2019 released his new single “House Arrest Tingz”.

In collaboration with the rapper Juice Wrld, his new single “Bandit” came out on 4 October 2019 and it peaked at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, breaking the charting record he set with his single “Outside Today”. On 10 October, another mixtape “Al YoungBoy 2” came out comprising 18 songs, and in February 2020, he released the mixtape “Still Flexin, Still Steppin”, which peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200.

Just recently on 24 April 2020, his latest mixtape entitled “38 Baby 2” came out, and topped the Billboard 200. YoungBoy has recently announced the full-length album “Top”, to be released on 11 September 2020.

He is yet to win an award, and has only been nominated for one – a BET Hip Hop Award for Best Impact Track for his single “I Am Who They Say I Am” in 2019.
