Morgan Eastwood is an American actress and producer, born on 12 December 1996, in Los Angeles, California USA. She’s also known for being the younger daughter of American actor, filmmaker and Oscar Winner Clint Eastwood.
Early Life
Morgan Colette Eastwood is the daughter of Clint Eastwood and Dina Ruiz, an American TV anchor. Although there’s not much information about Morgan’s childhood, it’s known that she was raised in California in her parents’ house and in a stable environment. There’s no information about Morgan’s high school, but she graduated from Loyola Marymount University. The entire Eastwood family was there to celebrate the graduation with her.

Morgan’s mother is Dina Ruiz, who is an American TV anchor and actress. She was born on 11 July 1965, in Castro Valley, California. She’s the daughter of Mary Lou Ruiz, a woman of German and English origin, and Michael Ruiz of Hawaiian, Japanese and African-American origin. Her father was a teacher in Fresno, California, and Morgan grew up in Fremont and matriculated from Mission San Jose High School. She started studying in Ohlone College, and then attended Arizona State University for a brief time, until she moved to San Francisco State University, from where she graduated with a degree in Broadcast Communications.
Dina’s first job in the media was during her time studying at Ohlone College, when she anchored for Ohlone College Television. After her graduation, she joined KNAZ-TV in Arizona as a reporter, but a year later moved back to California to KSBW as a news anchor.
In 1993, during her time in KSBW, she met Clint in an interview. In 2007, Eastwood recalled their first meeting: ‘She was doing an interview with me…[and] we got along really well and I guess we flirted a little bit because she took the film back to KSBW and one of her associates said, ‘You’re going to marry him.’ Then we were attending a function out at Spanish Bay and [one of the hosts] said, ‘Do you mind sitting with Dina Ruiz?’ I said, ‘No! Not at all!’ We ended up holding hands and doing all that kind of nonsense and then we started dating and we’re still dating. … She’s a very forthright kind of person. It’s one of those things you can’t put your finger on because it’s pheromones or something.’

It’s said that Clint was still in a relationship with Frances Fisher when he started dating Dina Ruiz, but despite Dina being Clint’s junior by 35 years, they married in 31 March 1996. It was Dina’s first marriage and Clint’s second. In 1996 they welcomed their only child, Morgan.
During their time together, Dina made cameo appearsnces in Eastwood’s movies, such as “Blood Work” and “True Crime”. In 2012 she also starred in the reality show “Mrs. Eastwood & Company”, in which Morgan and Francesca also appeared. The show focused also on Overtone, a South African band that Dina discovered when Clint was filming the movie “Invictus”. Clint made only a brief appearances during the show.
In April 2013 it was announced that Dina had entered rehab, due to depression and anxiety. In August that year she announced that she and Clint had been separated for some time, and she filed for divorce in October that year.

Morgan’s father is the more famous of her parents, though. Clint has had a long and successful career as an actor and filmmaker, a fact that has led him to earn an impressive fortune and become a Hollywood Icon. He’s a multi- Academy Award winner: in 1992 he won two Oscars for “Unforgiven” and in 2004 he won another two Oscars for his work on “Million Dollar Baby”.
