Jason Landau was born in the USA, on 12 April 1977 – his zodiac sign is Aries and he holds American nationality. Jason is an actor and entrepreneur, but probably best known for being the husband of noted American actor Cheyenne Jackson.

Early life and education

Jason was raised in the US by his father who is a lawyer, and his mother who is a dentist. He attended a local elementary school, but where he was bullied and thus became shy, however, things improved after he enrolled at high school, where he excelled at lacrosse while also playing other sports such as soccer and table tennis.

He became interested in acting, and started taking acting lessons, winning his first roles in school plays and at a local theatre. Upon matriculation, Jason moved to New York and enrolled at New York University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 1999, meantime also working as a waiter to financially support himself.

Career as an actor and other ventures

Jason made his debut appearance in the “Will & Grace” romantic comedy TV series in 1998, appearing in a single episode portraying a passenger in this show, which follows Will who is a gay lawyer, and Grace who is an interior designer, while the two are living together in New York City.

Their two best friends are Jack, a gay man, and Karen, a rich socialite.

The year 2002 saw him appear in four episodes of the “American Dream” TV drama music series which stars Gail O’Grady and Tom Verica, and follows the Pryors family and their teenage daughter Meg, who is trying to become a dancer. Jason’s latest appearance has been in the “Sunset Junction, a Personal Musical” film shot in 2011, which follows several people as they learn about the importance of friends and how unimportant their careers are in comparison.

After this role, Jason discontinued his career in acting, rather becoming an entrepreneur. He has launched his own small company, and is currently its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Jason and Cheyenne met in September 2013 while they were both fighting alcohol addiction at a rehabilitation center, and in October began dating, with Jason uploading a picture of them together onto his Instagram account. After a couple of months, the two became engaged in February 2014 – during an interview, Cheyenne stated ‘We’ve both been through a lot in our lives, we got sober together. Now we sing and we dance together. It blows my mind.’

The two actors married in September 2014, in Encino, California, at a ceremony attended by over 200 people, including many celebrities such as Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Leah Remini. They decided to adopt children, and welcomed fraternal twins named Ethan and Willow on 7 October 2016, while they are also parents to their pet dog. The family is currently residing in their luxurious home in Los Angeles, California.

Jason is a huge fan of the film industry, with his favorite actors and actresses being Hugh Jackman, Robert de Niro and Natalie Portman, while some of his favorite movies include “The Greatest Showman”, “Taxi Driver”, and “V for Vendetta”.
