Florence Vanida Faivre was born in Bangkok, Thailand, on 8 June 1983 – her zodiac sign is Gemini and she holds Thai nationality. She is an actress, perhaps best known for her portrayal of Julie Mao in the science fiction mystery series “The Expanse” which starred Steven Strait, Cas Anvar and Dominique Tipper, and which is about a police detective in space who discovers that a big conspiracy might destroy an Earth colony of rebels. Florence was raised in Aix-en Provence, France by her French father who was a construction worker, and her Thai mother who taught at a local high school. Florence became interested in acting while attending elementary school, and appeared in many school plays as well as several performed at a local theatre.
