The film won numerous awards before its theatrical run, including the top prize at the Beverly Hills Film Festival. Some parts of the film were based on actual transcripts recorded during the trial. This wasn’t the first film to tackle the incident, as a few years back a film called “Chicago 10: Speak Your Peace” was also released on the independent film circuit.

Later Career

After working on several other independent films, Lauren returned to the big screen with a small role in 2014’s “Gone Girl” alongside Neil Patrick Harris, Rosamund Pike and Ben Affleck. The film is based on the novel of the same name written by Gillian Flynn who also served as the screenplay writer for the production, and tells the story of a woman who suddenly vanishes, s leaving her husband as the prime suspect for her sudden disappearance. It was successful in depicting the theme of the novel which is gender, and the perception that women are generally good. There has been increasing interest in producing a sequel film though it would only be possible if the main cast members were available. Glazier had another minor role in the 2018 film “Red Sparrow”, which marked her return to acting after a four-year break.

It’s based on a novel of the same name, this time written by Jason Matthews, and stars of the film include Jennifer Lawrence, Matthias Schoenaerts and Joel Edgerton. The film tells the story of espionage during the times of the Soviet Union and the Cold War, in which women were often used as tools of sexpionage, which often led to Russia gaining compromising material that could damage a high profile individual.

Her fame then rose significantly with her next project, as she was cast during the second season of “Mindhunter” as the character Kay Manz. The show is inspired by the book “Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit” which was written by Mark Olshaker and John E. Douglas, and is produced by Charlize Theron, starring Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany.

In the show, the two use their interactions with imprisoned serial killers to help them solve other ongoing cases. It has aired two seasons so far, with the second season set in 1980 during the Atlanta Child murders perpetrated by serial killer Wayne Williams.
