Colleen Wolfe was born on 2 January 1985, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA, and is of Caucasian ethnicity and holds American nationality.
Not much is disclosed about her parents or any siblings she might have, but it is rumored that her father is a flight instructor. Her parents divorced when she was little, and custody was given to her mother, but Wolfe remained close to her father as well. She grew up in Horsham, Pennsylvania, where she went to Hatboro-Horsham Senior High School. After matriculating, she enrolled at Drexel University located in Philadelphia, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications in 2007.
Career
After graduating, she started her journalism career working for WTXF-TV in Philadelphia. She then briefly joined Sports Radio 94 WIP and Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, in which she worked as a booking producer. In 2012 she joined FOX 29, where she became a sports reporter. She established herself as an on-air personality when she worked for PHL17, and was a host for the CSN Golf Show. In 2014 she became a part of the National Football League Network.
Wolfe worked as an associate producer, production assistant, line producer, booking producer, show producer, but most notably as a reporter, writer, host, photographer, and editor, across both digital and broadcast platforms. Wolfe reported for local news and both regional and national sports networks. She is a frequent guest of the Around the NFL Podcast that airs on the NFL.com website. One of the TV shows she works on is “Good Morning Football Weekends”, a live morning television program. Wolfe is a host for “Dear Diary With Colleen Wolfe #GMFB”, in which she covers various topics, such as the self-destructive behavior of football quarterback Carson Wentz.
She’s interviewed many famous people, such as A.J. Green and Andy Dalton.

Personal Life
Wolfe announced her engagement to The Ringer sportswriter John Gonzalez in 2010; he is also known for working as a presenter for the Inquirer Sports Person. They tied the knot on 4th September 2011, and the duo often appears together on the NFL Network’s Top 10 program. Apart from him, Wolfe has never been romantically linked publicly with anyone else.
She is an avid fan of the American Football team the Philadelphia Eagles.
Wolfe loves animals and often rescues homeless or hurt animals that she brings home, or takes to the nearest shelter; she’s also known for adopting rescued animals.
While Wolfe was covering the 2017 Training Camp, especially the Oakland Raiders, she was approached by the American Football running back Marshawn Lynch who asked her out during their conversation about his new soul food restaurant, before noticing her wedding ring and complimenting her on it. The clip of the interview went viral on social media platforms. One clip even has more than 1.5 million views on Twitter!
Another clip of Wolfe that went viral was created on 8th February 2018, when she was recorded spontaneously rapping to “Bodak Yellow”, a song by Cardi B, during an NFL Network break, the day she was covering the Super Bowl LII parade. The video was ‘tweeted’ by a sports and pop culture blog Barstool Sports, and attracted more than 600,000 views.
Wolfe is privately known as ‘Connie Fox’, a nickname she got in high school when one of her classmates couldn’t remember her exact name and called her Connie Fox, as it (apparently) sounded similar to Colleen Wolfe.
Wolfe is popular on social media platforms, most notably Instagram and Twitter. She has almost 70,000 followers on her Instagram account, on which she often posts her career endeavors. She has the same number on her official Twitter account, on which she posts pictures of herself and her work.
