While attending elementary school, Laura and her friends daydreamed together about becoming famous actresses and models, but having very strict parents, Laura was urged to focus on her education. She attended a local high school at which she was interested in various things including dancing and playing sports, and upon matriculation in 1983, she enrolled at a college and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in business management and environmental science in 1987.

Soon after graduating, Laura started working for Woody as his personal assistant, which is how they met and eventually fell in love.

Laura hasn’t shared many other details regarding her career but it is known that she is still today working with her husband. She is also the co-owner with him of Yoganics, which is an organic food delivery service.

Laura and Woody met in 1987 on the set of the series “Cheers” – Woody was acting in it and Laura had started working as his personal assistant. They spent the first two years being in a strictly professional relationship, and then started dating – the two could’ve been seen attending most of Woody’s film events together.

Their relationship was shaken in 2002 when Woody got drunk in London, England and reputedly had a foursome with three unknown people, however, Laura forgave him for this indiscretion.

The two eventually married in 2008 in in Maui, Hawaii, in a simple and private ceremony attended by their closest friends and family, while a couple of celebrities who attended were Willie Nelson, Owen Wilson and Sean Penn. Today they have three children together who were born years before the wedding: their first daughter Deni Montana was born in 1994, followed by her sister Zoe Giordano in 1996, and in 2006, Laura and Woody welcomed their third daughter Makani Ravello. The family of five is living together in Maui.

Laura hasn’t talked about any other men she might have dated before meeting Woody but it’s known that Woody was previously married to Nancy Simon – they married ‘for fun’, and wanted to divorce the following day, but the parlor was closed and they actually stayed married for the following 10 months.

Woodrow Tracy Harrelson was born in Midland, Texas USA, on 23 July 1961 – his zodiac sign is Leo and he holds American nationality.

He is perhaps still best known for his portrayal of bartender Woody Boyd, in the comedy series “Cheers”, created by James Burrows, Glen Charles and Les Charles, and which starred Ted Danson, Rhea Perlman and John Ratzenberger – it follows several people who are regular customers at the Boston bar Cheers. The series won 77 awards including six Golden Globes, and was nominated for 181 other awards during its airing from 1982 to 1993. For Woody’s performance, he was nominated for seven awards, winning two: an American Comedy Award for Funniest Newcomer – Male or Female and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

Woody was raised alongside his brothers Brett and Jordan in Midland, by their father Charles Voyde Harrelson who was a convicted hitman, and their mother Diane who was a secretary – Charles was sent to prison for life in 1979 after he killed Federal Judge John H. Wood Jr., and died behind the bars on 15 March 2007. The family moved to Lebanon in Ohio years prior to Charles’ crime, where Woody studied at Lebanon High School, and upon matriculation in 1979, he enrolled at Hanover College from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre and English.

After auditioning for roles in movies and TV series for two years, Woody won a role in “Cheers” in 1985, and stayed with the main cast until the show finished in 1993.

He went on to appear in numerous TV series, while some of his most notable performances were in the comedy “Will & Grace”, the anthology crime drama “True Detective” in which he starred alongside Matthew McConaughey in its first season, and the comedy “Spin City”.

He is more widely known for his roles in movies, with a couple of his first having been in the 1986 sports comedy “Wildcats”, the 1992 sports comedy “White Men Can’t Jump”, and the drama “Indecent Proposal” in 1993, co-starring with opposite Demi Moore and Robert Redford. In 1996, he was cast to star in the biographical drama “The People vs. Larry Flynt”, and for his performance won a nomination for a Golden Globe and an Academy Award.

He went on to appear in many movies, such as “After the Sunset” and “She Hate Me” both in 2004, and in 2005 “The Big White”, and then in the crime thriller “No Country for Old Men” portraying Carson Wells, one of the lead characters who is a bounty hunter. He was also praised for his portrayal of Ezra in the 2008 drama “Seven Pounds”, which starred Will Smith.

According to various critics, Woody’s best performance was in the 2009 war drama “The Messenger”, which won him nominations for numerous awards – it follows an American soldier who is thinking about whether or not it is a good idea to be sleeping with a widow whose husband was an officer.

Woody is still appearing in movies to this day, and a couple of his most notable recent appearances have been in the 2018 superhero movie “Venom” (cameo), the 2019 epic war film “Midway” in which he starred as Admiral Chester Nimitz, and the 2019 post-apocalyptic zombie comedy “Zombieland: Double Tap”, in which he portrayed the lead character Tallahassee.

Woody is also a stage actor and a playwright – he wrote his first play “Furthest from the Sun” in 1999. He has appeared in many Broadway plays, such as “The Rainmaker”, “The Late Henry Moss”, and “On an Average Day”, and has also written another play “Bullet for Adolf” in 2011.

Woody is a huge fan of chess, and was invited to make the first move in the game between Norwegian World Champion Magnus Carlsen and Fabiano Caruana, an Italian-American chess prodigy, at the 2018 World Chess Championship held in London, England.

Woody has had his share of problems with the authorities. He was arrested in 1982 after he danced in the middle of a street in Columbus, Ohio, but was released after he paid his fine. On 1 June 1996, he phoned deputy sheriff Danny Towsend telling him he was about to plant industrial hemp into the ground just outside of a local hotel in Lee County in Kentucky, to prove that the state law doesn’t know the difference between marijuana and industrial hemp – he was arrested after the police came, but was released from all charges in around half an hour. It is widely known that Woody supports the legalization of hemp and marijuana.
