Rochelle Davis was born as Andrea Hunsberger in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA, on 14 June 1980 – her zodiac sign is Gemini and she holds American nationality. She is an actress who might be known best for her portrayal of one of the lead characters Sarah, in the 1994 critically acclaimed fantasy action drama movie “The Crow”, written by James O’Barr and David J. Schow, and which also starred Brandon Lee and Michael Wincott.

The movie follows a man who, after he and fiancée were murdered, comes back to life to avenge their deaths – it won five awards and was nominated for seven others, while Rochelle was nominated for a Chainsaw Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Childhood and education
Rochelle was raised an only child in Philadelphia by her father who was a businessman, and her mother who was a theatre actress – Rochelle often went to watch her mother perform at a local theatre, which stirred her interested in acting at a very early age.
She started acting while still attending elementary school, as she practiced her skills at the school’s drama club and appeared in many plays performed at the school. Rochelle launched her career with her role in “The Crow” not long after she enrolled at a high school, and continued appearing in school plays, but after Brandon Lee was accidentally killed during the shooting of “The Crow”, Rochelle decided she didn’t want to have anything more to do with Hollywood.
She matriculated in 1998, but didn’t enroll at college, but looked for jobs to financially support herself.
Career as an actress
Rochelle was very close to Brandon, and they became best friends in around three weeks after meeting on the set of “The Crow”. In one of the scenes, the character of the actor Michael Massee was supposed to shoot Brandon’s character with a revolver loaded with blank rounds, however, a dummy round was stuck in the pistol, and after it fired it killed Brandon.
Between 1994 and 2009, Rochelle was offered numerous roles in various movies and TV series, but refused them all as she was still shocked by what happened to Brandon. She suffered from depression and anxiety, which is why she is an advocate for these two conditions today.
It was in 2009 that she finally agreed to act again, and portrayed The Detective in the horror movie “Hell House”, written and directed by Jason Crowe, and which starred Al Snow, Cyndi Snow and Roni Jonah – it’s about a haunted house which was once the home of the family known as the Reapers, who were accused of murdering numerous people. In 2016, Rochelle played the lead character Alera in another horror film, “Grotesque” directed by Elizabeth Culbreth, and which also starred Jesse L. Green and Brenda Cobb, but it failed to attract much attention.
She has recently been cast to play the main character of Mrs Layton in the upcoming mystery horror film “Revenge of the Devil Bat”, written and directed by Ted Moehring, and which will serve as the sequel to the film “The Devil Bat” shot in 1940s.
Love life and relationships
Rochelle is very secretive when it comes to her love life, and has kept details regarding her past and present affairs hidden from the public. However, it’s known that she gave birth to her son Destin back in October 2003.
There are rumors circulating the internet that Rochelle was in a long-term relationship, but that he left because she didn’t want to have an abortion, while there are also those who believe that she was married to her son’s father, but that they divorced before 2010 for unknown reasons.
Because she is a supporter of the LGBT community, there are those who believe Rochelle to be either lesbian or bisexual,l but she hasn’t commented on her sexual orientation. As of November 2020, she is single and has one son.

Hobbies and other interests
Rochelle is a huge lover of animals, with dogs being her favorites and she has stated in an interview that the only thing she didn’t like about Brandon Lee was that he once told her that he didn’t like dogs – Rochelle was nevertheless planning on giving him a pet dog as a present for his wedding. She has several pets that live with her including two rats, a pitbull dog and a pig.
She likes to play video games, becoming interested in them during the shooting of “The Crow” when she started using the console Gameboy – she often played together with Brandon. Today, she usually plays PlayStation 4 and Xbox.
Rochelle has her own favorite actors and actresses, some of whom are Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie, while a few of her favorite movies are “Taxi Driver”, “The Irishman” and “Maleficent”.
