Childhood and educationand

Frankie was raised in Wyckoff alongside his three older brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick, by their parents who are of very mixed European, French-Canadian and American Cherokee. Their father Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. was a musician and an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God Church, while their mother Denise Marie was a singer and a sign language teacher. All three of Frankie’s brothers are actors and musicians, who are best known for having founded the band The Jonas Brothers, and because Frankie isn’t a member of the band, he is often referred to as ‘The Bonus Jonas’.

Frankie became interested in acting at a very early age, as he was motivated by his parents and brothers, and so joined his elementary school’s drama club at the age of seven – he actually launched his acting career when he was nine. He was interested in sports while attending high school, as he played both football and soccer, and upon matriculation in 2018, decided not to pursue a college degree but to focus on his career as an actor.
